Hi,

I have seen lore connecting the Ulteran spires with the Erudite/Quellithulians (sp.?), but I was wondering about the coud platforms. Are they also examples of Erudite craftsmanship or do they have different origins?

They're just there because they are there. There is no lore behind them. It's just an appropriate form of transportation for way up in the sky.

Pretty much. I heard that they originally planned to have us fly on dragonback, but I suppose that obviously would not have made any sense due to our goals of the expansion and their pride being an obvious issue.

Fair enough. The scupltures on the plinths set on those cloud platforms seem somehow ambiguous. From the front they look like dragon heads but from the back they look like swans coming in to land. It makes me wonder if they have been constructed by someone trying to appease both birds and dragons.
