This is my first Erollisi celebration in Norrath!

I would like to know if anyone can clear up my confusion about the tinkering level I need to craft the holiday items (gold and silver roses).

I read that Level 50 is needed to craft them ... but -

is it 50 skill, which I have when I open my Skills window, or is it some number higher than that?

I bought a level 15 blueprint on the Broker, which then translated to 75 skill level for me to craft.

Thanks in advance for your help, and a loving Erollisi celebration to you all.

The Erollisi crafts should be a separate book then the 'regular' tinkering blueprints.

If it is like last year, it should be very similiar to the Frostfell crafting in that different receipes will use different crafting skills, to include tinkering. The main difference in Erollisi vs Frostfell is... Erollisi will require love notes/ candy that are looted off of certain types of mobs (and grey mobs will work). These will be dropped only during the live event, but you can farm them like crazy, then craft the items through out the year. (It is very very similiar to the Night of the Dead crafting if you were around for it.)

Now my memory is a bit hazy from last year, but I seem to remember that you could attempt to tinker an item that needed a higher tinker skill then you had. If I had a tinker skill of 10 for a 50 tinker skill recipe, I could attempt the craft, I just was more likely to fail then if I had 50 or 60 points. (Just like fighting a yellow mob gives more exp then a white or green, yellow crafts give more then white or green.) But you had to have selected tinkering as your secondary craft. Transmutters & folks with out a secondary craft skill (given by tinker trainers) couldn't make those reciepes.

Erollisi's blessing on you and your loved ones.

"Level" can be confusing when it comes to tinkering and transmuting.

These are skill 50 (I believe it is 30 for the ring in the second book, but without logging back on to Test, I can't be positive) combines. You can attempt them at lower skill - you can even attempt them as a non-tinker (but without reaction arts to buff progress & durability, a non-tinker is likely to fail).

Thank you so much for all the helpful information ...

my secondary skill is tinkering and it is at skill level 50 ... so it looks as if I am all set for holiday crafting!
