When you are fighting Zarrakon and your group is chosen to be able to attack/kill the add there is a major problem in the fact that if someone in your group dies, when they revive or get rezzed and get back in to fight they still have the detriment on them that shows they can attack the mob but CANNOT engage or do anything to it at all.

With aoes going off and the adds themself memwiping there is no way I can believe that dying takes you out of the fight, this isn't intended I'm sure. The encounter seems to work for the most part besides sometimes the pools are semi buggy as far as people getting their visions removed. I'm sure alot of guilds would appreciate this bug getting fixed........

Yeah it's an annoying Bug, which also applies to Tyrannus the Dark encounter in YIS, if someone dies for what ever reason while on "add duty", and gets rezzed up right away he can not reengage the mob ==>> WHIPE.

Would be awesome if SoE would be able to sort out their way how detrimental effects work! The whole concet is full of flaws & bugs

Zarrakon was "fixed" today... now you can hit adds after being rezzed.  However, even after the buff drops you remain unable to hit Zarrakon--target is immune!  As a result you get progressively less DPS on Zarrakon, while more groups stack up being able to hit the Mystmyrian Wraith (even though the detrimental has been removed from you).

Please unwind the "fix" ASAP.

Did you even test this fix?  STOP! I know you didn't otherwise after killing the wraith i would be able to once again resume kicking zarrakons butt. seriously this sort of thing just makes ppl laugh long and hard at you. unwind the "FIX" or maybe just maybe do it properly

Gah, unneeded fix to begin with.  You just had to not die in the add group, and no prob.   Revert please.

Any group that receives the "add curse" can no longer attack Zarrakon for the REMAINDER of the fight, not just while their add is up. Unless the same group (or 2 groups) are targetted repeatedly, you eventually end up with 4 groups that can't attack Zarrakon.

Fix one small issue, Cause a bigger issue!

WTG soe, any eta or dev comments on fix?

Because its RNG if we can go and kill it when our lockout expires!

Pretty disconcerting that we've seen no response and no fix several days later. Guess we won't see anything till next week as SOE doesn't do anything on the weekend.

They must be so consumed with fixing this error that they haven't yet even posted the initial change to the Update Notes forum:

Hotfix March / 24 / 2009 MISTMYR MANORThe three bonus chests can no longer be looted until the Primogens are slain. PALACE OF THE ANCIENT ONEWeapons will be damaged less frequently during the Pentaclypse Ultaclypse fight in Palace of the Ancient one.  Additionally, the void handlers will not hit players quite as hard with their shadow stab ability. RAIDSDuring the Zarrakon raid encounter, players who die and are resurrected should retain their ability to affect Mystmerian Wraiths. Players that live, as intended, will be unable to do anything other than zerg any remaining adds between cybering each other in their growing spare time.Anashti Sul will now reactivate void portals slower during her fights.
