Can anyone help me out, I usualy have no problems running EQ2.  The other day I zoned into someones guild hall and crashed.  I can log on all my other charicters and zone to any other zone as far as I know.  Unfortunatly I can not log back on to my main, since I crashed while zoning into that guild hall.  Is there anyway to extract my charicter from that zone so I can log him back in?  Listed below is the error code I recieve when the client crashes.  I tried adjusting settings turning them down and up, with no luck.

Application ran out of memory when requesting 248016 bytes (limit:766MB,current:766MB)

Thanks,

Audolf(charicter in question) crushbone(server)

The only way to do this, as far as i know, would /petition it and a dev or someone might be able to zone you out

My son ran into this issue with our guild's guildhall, he cannot log out in it & he avoids it mostly because his system can't handle it. Fortunately for him he just logged on to his account on my machine & got him outta there.

If you don't have this option at all my suggestion would be to submit a /petition & ask cust serv to kick your char outside of the guildhall.

Thanks for the info, sounds like I will have to petition it on another one of my charicters.

Another thing to try, log in to another character, then turn your performance settings right down to 'extreme performance'

Then try  /camp 'stuckcharactername'

When that happened I just retried logging in 3 times or so and I got moved to another zone on the toon. (it's happened a fwe times during my years of EQ2 and sometimes you end up getting moved to a wildly different zone)

There is a thread here regarding this issue in the Technical Support forums. It has something to do with computers with more than 2 gigs of RAM. There are several suggestions from players who've managed to decrease the frequency of this issue so you might want to check it out.

I have 8 gigs of RAM and have good days and bad days. Either I never crash or I am constantly crashing. When I do, I always /bug so that the devs can figure out what is causing it eventually.
