Same story, cannot purchase from Station store, get message

"Sorry, we were unable to process your payment.

Please click on the following link for possible solutions to your error:

No problem paying account monthly or buying LoN Card, but pre-ordering is impossible to complete with my corporate mastercard...

Have current card, up-to-date account info etc. Lives in Sweden so DD is only option since getting EQ2 in Europe is a real pain due to SOE marketing genius.

Same problem here all CC details updated but no payment taken. It is quite nice that Sony don't feel the need to take my money even when offered. There is also no option to apologise for the evil sin of having a UK account and the unforgivable sin of not providing parlimentary representation for the 13 colonies for which I take full responsibility and apologise entirely! Now please may I pre-order the expansion (and get my tea bags back out of Boston harbour)Thanks SMILEY

Anyone else getting the feeling that the only people that can do anything CC related right now are in the US? In the words of Eddie Izzard: "You do *know* there are other countries, right?"

The problem actually doesn't lie with us this time.  When processing transactions that originate in another country we need to use a system called global collect.  They have had some database problems over the last couple of days.  According to the information I have they are actively working to correct it and it should be done shortly.  Hopefully thats the case.

Hello again everyone,I just got an e-mail letting me know that the Global Collect problem has been fixed for pre-orders.  Everyone should be able to preorder at this point.  Let me know if you continue having difficulty.

Thats usually a different error caused by the Currency on your account not matching the Country.  We should be able to correct that for you if you can contact our customer support.

ok well i was having a similar sort of issue

turned out i had an old expired credit card on my account that seemed to be acting as the "primary" card - went through some odd steps to be able to delete it (had to go and pretend i was changing my card in my EQ2 subscription but really just picked by "second" card again and confirmed) and this then gave me an option on the payment sources screen to delete the first one.  for some reason that option wasn't there before.

went back to the pre-order from eq2players.com (no link on the station store pages for some inexplicable reason - it's like they don't want people to buy it!) and it went through this time.

what a palaver - and those account webpages are the worst built pages i have ever seen - what is with the loading time of all the dozens of jpg files?!

Well........

After finally managing to preorder TSO  - new credit card details, account changed to ££ from $$ my subscription failed!

My new card which was accepted for pre-order didn't work for subs, after some frustration with a tsr rep in chat (it's your bank - your card declined etc.. which it wasn't) I had to delete my card, cancel my pre-order have my account switched back to U$D, re-do subs in the original wrong currency, which accepted my supossedly dodgy card, give up, and, bizzarely, order a box instead of just quiting for good.

Just a thought... but isn't taking customers money quite a key part of any business? Why make it so hard?

Now I have completed my payment quest, surely I should receive a particularly shiny reward???
