![]() Please know I think you have done some wonderful things. I am just furious right now. I am a single mother of two, I had to stop raiding last week because of real life and raiding was my dream, my mother has just had open heart surgery, and when I log in to play, I want to play. NO STRESS, SO HASSELS, NO SURPRISES. I don't want to log in to find my toons looking like clowns. I don't have time to read test updates, and the forums. Had I known you were going to change the appearance of certain items, well of course I would have realized I needed to use my points from the tempest quest to get the items that revealed your arms, etc. or buy the architects cape when it was 25 silver and not 2 plat. Now anyone who had 15 cent items that showed the arms has raised the prices rediculously. Instead of logging on to play I have spent over 4 hours trying to get my toons to look like they did before the last update. Also, some of the items were not cheap before when I got them, and now that is totally wasted coin.I love what you are doing, but this was a major screw up. 50 DKP minus big time. I just wanted to append to this message. I think I was venting to the world that day. The itemization as far as looks go is really nice. I have located everything I was looking for and apologize for my venting. Bad Day. Thank you for all the helpful tips below. |

Some of the player-crafted pieces still have a bare arm appearance. I had to shop a bit to find 'em but they are definitely there and you can commission them cheaply as always. T1 Common Tranquil Threadbare and the T1 Rare Regular and Tranquil Sackcloth all work.HOWEVER, your outrage at not being "able" to read the release notes? -50 DKP for sad excuse dear. There's a button on the launchpad. Whenever the game is doing a big scan-and-update, you have to wait ANYWAY. So click the button that displays the notes. And hasn't your raid leader mentioned that information VITAL to raiders gets mentioned in the update notes? Like timers, AOE frequency, and stuff that totally affects T8 raid strats? Like when Wingbeat was fixed? The recent changes to Veeshan's Peak generators?Meanwhile, back at the ranch, if all you do is raid, you're prolly in "Claymation Mode" graphics anyway. Which means you have a severe case of "Plumber's Crack" and your arms have an extra joint and you have two black eyes. And you're worried about pink sleeves? PUH-LEESE!Oh, and EPIC FAIL on the "Pity Poor Me" because you have Real Life issues. So do the rest of us. As a raider, you should be raking in plenty of plat -- heck, just PR should net you plenty for repairs and several pieces of fluff armor. I posted elsewhere that I was annoyed AT MYSELF for not having considered the bare arms issue. Because it was totally MY FAILURE. Don't try to hang YOUR failure on Domino.

![]() First, You absolutely have my sympathies and best wishes for the health and well being of your mother. As with all changes to the game, you will find that some people adore them, some will loathe them, and to some, they are just . . . meh. You might find a solution to your problem here though http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=429572 Cheers. Caele 64 Mystic/63 Carpenter (Test Server) PS Again best wishes to your mom. |

![]() I'm not very pleased with the changes either. I knew they were coming but did not expect them to be so hideous. My warden, who was in nice dark orange-and-cream woven dragonhide (expensive) that matched his LoN cloak beautifully, woke up in green and purple trash that looked more like chain than leather. My poor paladin, who was in white and black with deep red sleeves and boots, woke up with cotton candy pink sleeves. These changes were not well done. I think it would have been better to add the new cloth/leather appearances to the game and not retroactively dress so many of our toons up like Bristlebane Day clowns. I really hope there will be some way to get the previous appearances or choose which to display. I would not ever choose to dress a character in green and purple OR sickly pink. |

There are great pics of all the new appearances for crafted armors at EQ2Trader's Corner. Check the pics. Also don't forget the dressing room!

I actually had no idea that other craftable things had no graphic other than the common and rare T1 cloth shoulders which although anyone can make them, still sold regularly for 5-10g.Before you get so upset over the look of your character, why not ask a tailor on your server, or anyone since they are t1, to make you the no graphic shoulders or forearms?Just because I put a T1 robe up for 25g doesn't mean I won't take less if someone wants it and truly can't afford it, esp if they are a new player who is low level. You can buy the rare root on my server for 12s most days, sometimes up to 1g and ask if there is a tailor who can make them for you.The game is EverQuest by the way, not EverFashion and if you want no stress you are barking up the wrong game tee hee.

I would suggest spending a half hour (max, probably much less) doing the starter crafting quest. About 8 combines and you'll be level 8 or 9 and able to make those T1 rare items yourself. And make some cash selling the invis items it sounds like! It doesn't even matter what crafter class you pick, since everyone gets the same recipes at T1 anyways.Hmm, I should take a look at the broker, perhaps my tailor should check her T1 stock...

More than likely if you like some of the looks of the lower level items, the Rares probably cost less than the item so grab a few and find a Tailor. Though, I would have thought a Raider would have had a few better outfits to wear, even as appearance slots, than Crafted items ... |

This ALMOST was a disaster for the missus, who is (obviously) much more fashion-capable (and conscious) than I (in AND out of game). After the dropped void shards were no longer possible on Test server, I noticed that one of the characters I have there, who had a 'bare arms' look, was now wearing something that, to be honest, looked like it could have been made into a doily for my grandmother's coffee table. My perplexed expression was enough to pique my wife's curiousity, and once I had explained what was the matter, she immediately walked to her computer, logged in, and cycled through her characters, getting each of them an additional amount of shards to purchase transparent sleeves (she has no characters on Test).I will be the first to admit, she was lucky in that regard. And later on, as Seidhkona has stated, the tier 1 'Tranquil' cloth sleeves showed themselves to have that invisible look, so I was able to 'repair' my Test server character.I find it difficult to believe that the OP would think Domino would leave people twisting in the wind like that. In fact, she is pretty much the only dev who has consistently listened to (and responded to) our concerns - and has addressed them if it even remotely possible to do so. Unfailingly. The only times she hasn't are those occasions where her hands were inarguably tied by someone else. Taking this out on her any more will likely lower any credibility you might have with the community.
