I've spent the past two months working on this 6 room Nerian home for my friend Ariakis at 3 Walk of the Dead on Antonia Bayle.  I can't even estimate how many hours it took.  Thank you everyone here for allowing me to steal and adapt lots of your ideas.  There are a lot of pics of this home but to be honest, I think it deserves them.

The dark elf inquisitor Ariakis doesn't like clutter, flowers, frills, or too much "patternation."  Overall the house needed a bold masculine "feel" - which was a hard frame of mind for me to maintain at times.  But I have to say, it was refreshing to make a house without lilies in it!

Ariakis wanted his entrance room to be welcoming, yet exude an air of power and affluence.  He wanted it to make the statement of the home but at the same time be able to be utilized for formal entertaining.

This is the two-story fish tank I posted in the Fish Tank thread, with a few alterations made by Ari.  He didn't like how I had the fish arranged, he wanted them to look more natural, like the were in a school instead of in separate areas of the aquarium, then he tossed a squirming plushie in the little spot on top.

An unusually designed fireplace using the new Tapestry of Flames.

To the left is the kitchen and lounge area for casual entertaining.

Leaving the lounge area and looking out into the entrance room.

Next is the dining room. Ari envisioned a room where important deals could be worked on at the table in addition to eating, so this room too needed to be impressive.

And downstairs is the "Reeducation Room."  I didn't post any screenies of this area overall because I don't think my fellow inquisitor would like me giving out the secrets of his work.  But I did feel free to show you one wall, which contains his altar to Innoruuk.  I always envisioned Ari having a huge altar to Inny and I really tried to embody that idea in this piece.

And moving upstairs.  This room is split into two sections.  First the library/study area.

Then turning around and looking at the wall towards the bathroom.

And the bathroom, complete with curtained bathing area.

And now to the next room, which is a combination master bedroom and garden.  This is the private area of the home and Ari wanted that delination to be evident.  He wanted it clean and simple, with a Zen type feel.  He wanted flowing lines in the garden and it should be calming rather than impressive while keeping with the masculinity of the home.  This room gave me the most trouble because I don't know much about this style and wasn't quite sure what he wanted, but Ari was very patient and after a few false starts I managed to make something satisfactory.

The bedroom section.

And looking from the bed towards the garden.

Ari especially wanted a soothing water feature (which gave me tons of fits trying to get it to look right).

That's all folks.  Hope you enjoyed the tour!

WOW this is gorgeous! My overall impression of this house is that it's very bold.  It definitely has a masculine feel about it, sot ake heart that you accomplished that very well. The Aquarium is very, very awesome!  The mirrored feature in the dining room was simply breathtaking. The Innoruk altar....wowzers! I kept seeing a screenie and thinking "Wow, this must be the best part of the house!" but I kept thinking that with progressing screenies SMILEY This is fantastic!

What? Ari doesn't want lilies? SMILEYThis was really impressive! I think you managed giving it a masculine feel very well. The aquarium, stage and garden area all looked awesome, but what really caught my eye was the Innoruuk altar. Never seen anything quite like that in here before. Overall, this house was very very nicely done.

It may have taken two months, but it was worth it!  So many great, unique features.  I particularly like the entry room with the raised piano (and what is that trim around the platform??), the column/hanging divider for the washroom, the entire dining room!, the altar, the aquarium, the water garden... well pretty much everything SMILEY

Those are teak mirrors around the stage I think.

And to the OP.. I just love how elegant and rich and yes very masculine feeling this is! The teal coloring of the neriak houses goes so well with the reds and darker pieces you used, just created a fantastic home.

Quite Stunning!  I've got to say your use of the mirrors and shelves, yes I'll be "borrowing" that idea! Your piano stage, gorgeous.  And that alter area, using the corpses and rock wall like that, that was pure Genius.  You did an awesome job!

The mirror display in your bar is beautiful!  Love the stage, the fish tank also!  Very well done overall.

How do I get a 6 room Neriak house? All I have found in Dark Grotto are 5 room houses, the biggest available.

Just curious, thanks.

The 5 rooms actually have 6 rooms in them, 3 on the main floor, 2 upstairs, and 1 downstairs.
