The quenos secret room in the largest houses you can walk into now, its very small. The FP house looks like a atticspace, and with customizable options, its much bigger and better. I am a barbarian, and had to be crouched to do Quenos, but not FP it was much more like a smaller room.

Enjoy,

Llieam

Wow, pretty cool. The Qeynos room is very small, but could still be made interesting. Perhaps a treasure stash or something.. The Freeport room is fairly large. Feels about the same size (maybe even a little bigger because of the taller ceilings) as the downstairs room. Could definitely have a lot of fun decorating this space.

Oh no another room. I just finished my house, with 35 items to spare for misc. things and now I have another room. I've already used my pocket expander. What's a person to do?

*now to figure out what I can take out*

Figure out what you can take out ;P It is a painful process but can't be avoided.

This is sweet.  I am going to explore my secret room today.  I have just about the same number of item slots left, after my pocket expander.

In Freeport, it's in the room one level up from the entrance, between entry level and patio level.Haohmaru was having a little play around with this last month, glad to see it made it in!  SMILEY

I just turned mine into a master bath, with a steaming "half" tub, a bucket for ... well,  you know... and a cedar table with a flower and a small lamp.  Now I'm going hunting through my house for vials to put in there too.  Hmmmm.  Need a towel.

Oh yes.  I put in some urns of hot water so that the bath never gets cold and a stool to sit on while I manicure my toenails.

One small problem.  My characters are too tall to stand up in there, but who needs to stand in a hot tub.  I can shrink them down to size using the Billy Moppet doll.  Turning off illusion forms lets you shrink without looking like the doll.  A monkey potion might do the same thing.

Yeah, it's hard to stand up in the FP room.  ((Haven't been in the Qeynos room)).  Kinda wish the rafter weren't there, but I'm interested to see what happens when people use them as a new floor. heh heh

Now that I have a place for my secret torture chamber, could I get some help making a list of in-game items that would be appropriate (or in-appropriateSMILEY) for said room of relaxation?

Thanks!

I like small spaces!! Here's what I did with my small space. It's very simple, but quite cozy SMILEY.

It's a nice place to just hide and find yourself with your teddy bear!

They always say that mirrors make a room look bigger. I dunno lol, but I put it in there!

Enjoy!

Seriously, if anyone could help me out here I would be very grateful.  I've seen some houses that have torture devices in them.  If I could remember who, I would go back to get the names of the items.  If any at all knows what they might be... please... for a little sadistic gnome?

Oh no FAIR!!!  You can fit a whole FIREPLACE in yours!!!  ANNOYING WHINE MODE: ACTIVEnah, not really.  I think it's GREAT they finally opened these rooms.  Granted, I had already covered the doorway to mine, building an additional few square feet onto the ledge in my Qeynos house, but hey, I needed a remodel anyways.   SMILEYit's pretty small...  I might just use it as storage.  You know, a mother-in-law closet, where you stick all the stuff you'd never dare show in public except when the person who gave it to you comes by.  SMILEY

I don't know the exact names, but if you check out eq2.eqtraders.com , they have a furniture section that shows all the stuff available.  Hope that helps!

If you walk that ledge above the living room in Qeynos, you will find the hidden room at the end of the ledge, a tiny door is there.

You might also look at some (not all) of the bone-crafted furniture. It's tier 2, so pretty easy to get the rares. The bone sconces have a nice goth look, but I wouldn't try putting the bone throne in there.....way too tall for the secret rooms....unless you find a way to use it as something else but a chair (and have 2/3 of chair sticking in the wall).

I turned mine into a torture chamber, will post pics later, but not sure if I like it. Percect size for one but things tend to get lost in the ceiling or in the wall so somethings I wanted wouldn't fit.

Please don't tell the gnome I'm decorating a home for! The first thing he'll do is move my "servant" (read slave) quarters from the room in the basement to this room off his dressing room! /hehe

I don't have a 5 room for myself so I'll have to settle for doing the FP version for that gnome friend. So, bathroom or slave room? Hmmmmmm
