I think the answer might be yes. I will share a story with no names, simply times and locations.

Last night around 9:00pm EST Me and my Wife were heading back home from Fens. Call was down so we took the long way. Upon coming to the docks there was about 2 groups of Q's. Track showed more than 6 but less than 12 (they might have been out of range).

I figured the boat just came in maybe they will not chase over thinking we just got off the boat. I was wrong. They came and in force. Evac was down but we werent giving them a free kill. I told her to run. Being a Defiler she jumped in the water and ran under it with her water walk. I mananged to get to the Post and take off. I actually ran through the Q's to do so. With snares people hitting me (not using a potion or anything) I managed to get away. It was sad really I should've been deader than dead. I mean seriously 1 Assassin being hit up by more than one group. Just sad really.

But that is not where my story ends, you see this is about Bards and their PVP viability. Well most of the group followed me and we thought my wife was in the clear. But alas a bard had been chasing her. She tried getting away under water as she was out of power from sprinting and getting away. But the bard would not give up, so finally she resigned to fighting back. He was at near full power and she was depleted of mana. To my sheer amazement using nothing but clickies (heal necklace and such) and her weapon she managed to kill this bard that was at full power.

Either bards need a boost or this guy with a destroyer title has never solo'd in his life to lose to a defiler with no mana and just a clickie necklace. I watched the battle on her screen and then I laughed myself to sleep.

perfect example of the flaws with the writ system..that bard couldnt beat his way out of a wet paper bag in a formidable fight..not because of the class,  but because of the way PVP is rewarded..the zergers are rewarded for having no skill but running in numbers at the expense of the PVPers

i guess SoE wanted to make sure the mentally challenged and clingy people that cant leave the city without holding hands with 10 other people could succeed in PVP with no effort

good job on seperating the dumass from his zerg..but that doesnt mean theres anything wrong with the class, it means you caught someone who thinks PVP is 10+ vs 2 and doesnt know how to PVP or play his class

Troubs are fine, Dirges are the lowest of the low along with Guardians & Summoners

Total noob dirge though, judging by the story above.    Wouldn't you stay out of melee range of a oop healer?   Kill from range, stall things, call in your posse that was close by.   Bards are above guardians and summoners, so you don't boost anyone until you boost the bottom of the food chain.   Track is still the bard's best asset.

A skill that helps to overpower the other scouts should have been left to the Bards only.   Nerf preds & rogs, take away their track and give it to summoners and guards  thx bye.

Simply put, no we dont, but thanks for the concern.

Now that I have hit 50, I have noticed I am acutally quite a bit more powerful than I was back in my early 40s. I close to top parses with my fellow players of equal gear. I even can keep up with Quickk (52 Bruiser) in DPS. Have I mentioned I LOVE my new spell Wail of the Dead? Because I do!
