did they decide not to put in erollsi day with LU 42, i know its not in the patch notes but its been on test for a while now, just wondering what is up raelinne

Yeah.. My wife and I were wondering since they had Erollisi Day in the video for the update.

Naughty naughty not saying aything about that.. Poor people thought you had forgotten it or something.

At least I hope it goes in by Friday... Would like a chance to play it enough to get everything (otherwise my wife will be sad).

Eh?? We have a little over a week till Valentine's Day. Isn't that close enough for you? What, you want to celebrate AFTER the holiday? It's A LOT better to start the events a few weeks early and end right after the real holiday than to start it close to the holiday and leave it running after the real holiday is over.

I'm glad it is not turned on yet, I was already busy enough running around looking for weaponsmith and paladin epic quest starters (and other classes too for guild) and checking on a few other things they updated... this way when it is turned on I can go check it out with out feeling overwhelmed SMILEY

It's like 2 GU's in a row!

/CRY!!!!!! I was so excited when I logged in yesterday thinking "yay its finally here!!!". I ran to EFP looking for Steven and Douglas, asked all the guards and my heart slowly started to sink when they shrugged their shoulders at me. I couldn't wait to start crafting all the new goodies this year. /sigh....... please turn it on soon, I will give ya a cookie =)

Anyone who was on the Test Server know if there will be customized greeting cards for this holiday like there were for xmas?I got a few ladies on venekor to send something nice to. And nothing says it better than Hallmark! ^^

We don't usually tell dates as to when holiday content is turned on, unless it's directly tied to an update. The live events team is working more and more in advance to the holidays too, so when they're implemented isn't necessarily when they're actually initiated ingame. The mention of Erollisi day recently was to simply yet the players know that yes there was an Erollisi Day event coming, since we were continually asked if there was one.

To my knowledge (this is not written in stone, mind you), the holiday will be starting within the next week.

It's Friday, February 8th, and valentine's is on Thurday...it's really more fun to have the event before the date. People are already starting to dress in valentine colors (at least on my server) ...come on, SOE, surely we should have started the fun activities by now!? esp. as more people play on the weekends. Just very disappointed it hasn't started yet.

I know that. It's how they put it into the game last year. They turned it on a few hours after the servers came up, but we want a lot of time to work on this holiday this year. I can't remember and Erollisi Day that continued on PAST Valentine's Day. We want as much time to work on this as possible!

Yes. We. As in the entire player community. If you don't like holiday events like this, then just ignore it and don't participate, but I know of a lot of players who are anxious for the event to finally start.

Lets face it. there will ALWAYS be bugs, that is the curse of an ever evolving environment. That being said, just because YOU dont want to see holidays celebrated in Norrath does not mean there is not a VERY large and very vibrant community of crafters (your's truely included) that were and still are ITCHING for some crafty lovin. Not to mention the role Players (yeah I know they are weird but we <3 them anyways)

Heya,Erollisi day will start on most servers on the 12th of this month and is planned to run for a week. As some people have mentioned it's already running on the Test server for anyone who can't wait to see what's in it SMILEY
