I was told that I could increase my dps by creating a macro with all of my CAs and spamming the macro. What are your thoughts? Do any of you use macros? And if so, what order to you put out CAs in?

The brigand in my group is nearly doubling the dps of the next person in the parse... wizards, assassins, etc.  I'm trying to catch up but it seems a loosing battle.  Not sure what else I can do.

The guy that told you to do that is an idiot. How are your CA set up? Personnaly I put all CA that do High Damage on one side, Tempo Buffs right next to those CA, Debuffs together so know what's up what's not. Regoupe chat doesn't do ant damage else where. You can make a few marcos where you can regroup 2 CA that are on the same recast time.

stupidest thing i have ever heard.

if you dont order your ca's, you are gimping the raid.  you need to order swipe, dps debuff, mit debuff, etc first.  if you don't, well....

i parse top 2 nearly every time and parse ~3k on solos - just hit the diff CAs in order based upon importance for the encounter (swipe on names first etc).

the only macro i use every time is the HO macro of debuff/dps reduct to get swindlers..

I'm going to make one of these macros and name it "Easy".

Seriously though I would suggest that you compare things like crit, haste, CA, and DA mods with the brigand to see what the differences are.

Dump the 6 piece Impetuous Strikes armor because that low poison proc is not worth it. Keep the legs for the +2 melee crit, get some Trooper Scale Boots and a Coif of the Reet Knight helm.

As the previous poster said worry about what order you do your ca's in so that you can assist the raid better. Plenty of posts on ca order in this and the eq2flames forums.

have you actualy looked at the logs for what that proc does ZW? Ill use coa tonight as a example 262 proc in the zone all duratio nwas 21 mins the duration on that proc was 10 mins. with a average hit of 588 and a high of 1550 dps added from that proc was 246 of my zw 3243 dps. It was 3rd on my list for the zone (thats was while i was tanking the zone).
