Melee spec warden.Transportation (portals)Utility (45% SoW, evac)Buffs (thorns, spores)Heals (not that she'll need them for her pet if she specs her necro for Tainted Heals)Oh, and you have a very nice DPS profile yourself, even more so if you spec agi for charm animal and int for infusion. In the interest of full disclosure, fury is also a good choice (2 int buffs, SoW, portals, group invis, etc). But my preference would be warden if only for the 45% SoW (I have a 72 warden and 70 fury).

![]() I'm currently running duo's with my sister, my necro, her warlock so that is an idea. As a necro your wife would almost be a group by herself so pretty much anything that deals damage (perhaps look into classes that benefit from disease buffs such as the Shadowknight) would do, it depends on what kind of content you expect to be duoing through. A healer would be nice to bring along for the extra survivability, I'm thinking fury but I suggest you play around a little and see what you like to play and what seems to work.

I'd suggest 2 options for ya, you pick what sounds more appealing. Option 1 is you could have your wife go for the tainted heals and stamina AA lines and she can be the tank and healer, then you be the dps and go with an assassin (pure damage, hits for large numbers) or a dirge (more of a support class with great spells for mana regen and will help out with necro's disease stuff). Option 2 is you're wife can go for more dps AA lines and you go with defiler for the heals, and both are disease based. Another advantage to you being a defiler would be, all you need to do is pick up a plate tank and you have a group that can easily take down a dungeon somewhere provided its not 3 or 4 levels above you.

![]() I would say fury. DPS if needed. Heals if needed. Good transport spells. Good buffs for mages. Some buffs for the pet. Overall two good solo classes that would compliment each other well.

Thanks for the Input, I really preferr getting in and fighting over being a pure caster. I have a few characters from 10 to 24 im going to delete all but my Monk. Lets face it in 2 years I dont remember how to play the game lol so Ill start off right and do it all over. I am going to make a Arasai Warden(fury if i only have the option of fury since he will be EEEEBILLLL), and a DE assasin, I will try both and see how they work with her, She is def. Going tainted heals and focusing on pets that is why she likes it so much. Thanks again I appreciate all the answers.

Both druids are neutral, so they can be any race and either alignment. If you've decided on warden, you might want to head over to the Warden board and do some reading there to get a feel for some of the more common specs, issues and tricks that wardens have.

![]() Nah, you don't want 2 mages. True the warlock and necro compliment well (poison/disease) but in a duo you're basically hoping you burn down the mob faster than your tank pet will go down. With proper healing the necro tank pet (esp master) can tank many heroics, of course having a wizzy or assin in the duo would still have aggro issues.. A good mastered nercro can handle many heroics solo so I'd say some healer type, as longs as you are a necro that can handle you're aggro (with pet easier, but still some can't do it) Juding by types, I'd say defiler, but then again wards depend on mit/avoid which pets suffer from, so I guess a cleric or warden would be better, but since I don't duo much I'm not sure...

![]() If you wanted two mages, I duo with a Necromancer (I'm an Illusionist) and, together, we fear no level-appropriate heroic encounters. Necromancers are great at single-target DPS and Enchanters convert a linked group into several single targets. Adds are just more targets for the to-be-killed queue and rarely threaten our safety. If fighting a single tough mob, an Enchanter's stuns, stifles and dazes significant reduce enemy DPS plus you can always press the "Pause" button (mez) if things are going poorly -- once you cancel your DoTs. I'd pick Illusionist over a Coercer because their buffs are more beneficial for casters. Two mages do not have great utility but are quite capable and can still be a lot of fun. |

My husband and I have duo'd a fury and necro since launch and its really great! I highly recommend it. The only real advantage wardens have over furies is evac which can be a lifesaver. The fury compliment to that is pact of the cheetah though, which comes in handy not only in "oh noes, we are going to die" situations but also in questing, etc. when you just want to get somewhere faster.
