Greetings,

I am leveling up my Warlock (just hit 70) and have to say its a "wow" class to play for sure' but seem to be struggling against necromancers. Any tips on how to beat them down effectively or what I might be doing wrong? Appreciate the assistance.

Ok for necro?  what thing about them makes them kill you? If its the fear carry some freedom of action pots.  Use focused casting and blow them to hell.

That seems that could be the answer for most of the fights I lose......its mainly the interrupt that does me in! I am working down the focused line right now and almost there. I am a Troll so I have immunity to fear if I can just get in the hang of remembering to hit the button when I see a Necro....lol!

Thanks for your advice....I shall get the rest of the AA needed!

What the other guy said. I've been a 'lock for a while now, though just getting back to Venekor so I'm just 74 still. Necros can be icky if you let their pets bug you and don't have something for the fear. AE's tend to get the swarms, and our little teleport the bad guys spell works wonders on the main pets. Necros themselves are pretty squishy, so Focused Casting really helps. That and Vulian Nullification to throw them off their feed.

But the BEST cure is toting around a Guardian and a Fury, which is what I do. I tend not to solo much--I like taunts and heals backing me up.... 'Locks can solo--I'm not good at it but some are--but we're really a group-focused class IMO.

Carnifax, 74 Warlock of Qeynos

For a necro, wait till he drops undead tide and use Chaostorm, it will kill all of his pets in 2 ticks, then proceed to burn him down.  TBH, i've never had a problem with a necro, i guess there are just no talented ones on Vox.  Straight burn him, use your AEs to drop the pet(s).
