I have 5 AA into my jesters cap and it's master 1 which means that it gives me a 50% reduced recast on anything cast while under its effect.Or it should. My friend noticed the bug originally while on a raid. He cast bladedance while under jesters cap and the recast was 7minutes which is less than 40% reduced from the 10minute recast. So i decided to test the spell to see if its just bladedance or if its everything.Perfect shrill- normal recast is 15seconds W/jesters goes to 10 secondsCheap shot- normal recast is 20 seconds w/jesters goes to 13Round Bash- normal recast is 45 seconds w/jesters goes to 30Jesters Cap- normal recast is 25 seconds w/jesters goes to 15As you can see, the recast timers are only being reduced by about 33%.Anyone else notice this or can confirm my findings?Edit: Correction, says it increases reuse speed by 50%. Not sure how SOE does thier math, but to me that means reduces timer by half. And if SOE DOESN"T mean that, then they need to edit their spell effects so that people can understand what the spell is doing.

It is in fact the description, not the spell, which is bugged, or at least very likely to be misinterpreted. If you think about the description very carefully, it is correct as long as you understand that "reuse speed" is (# of times you can cast) divided by (amount of time). For instance the regular reuse speed of Cheap Shot is 3 casts per minute or 1 cast per 20 seconds. A 50% increase in this speed is therefore 4.5 casts per minute or 1.5 casts per 20 seconds or 1 cast per 13.3333333333 seconds. As you have correctly observed, a 50% increase in "reuse speed" is equivalent to a 33% reduction in reuse delay.H.

If I remember correctly the formula was something like(Normal spell reuse) / (1 + %reduction) = Adjusted reuse value.Only reason I can sum up why they have this elaborate formula is to assure you can't shorten reuse values to some ridiculous amount. With stuff like the Cloak of Unrest, Ring of Four Winds while J-caping yourself would have a massive impact... probably too massive for Sony to consider fair.

(Normal spell reuse) / (1 + %reduction) = Adjusted reuse value. This is the forumla they generally use every time when it comes to reducing timers.More precisely (though probably logical to everybody), if you have multiple stacking reductions, it's(Normal spell reuse) / (1 + (%red1 + %red2 + ...)) = Adjusted reuse value. ![]()
