Sadly that's the way it works, the 30 days free is for new accounts only so you have a choice of either creating a new account and getting your 30 days or continuing your trial account and not getting them.

Actually, that's not how it works. While the 30-days Free is for New accounts only, the Trial account counts as a new account so you should have gotten the free time. How was it determined that you didn't get the 30-days? Was it that you were actually billed or was it that you had to enter credit card info? If it's the former then you should contact Billing support, if it's the later than that is simply how account activation works. While they ask for payment info you won't actually be billed until after the 30-day period as expired.

Apparently, I stand corrected instead. After further review of the Knowledge Base it would seem that they have decided to change how this works. Back when the game was first released (and I believe for quite some time thereafter) the 30-days was considered a "bonus" for having bought the game. I had upgraded my trial account and did in fact get the 30-days so I was going off of past experience.Sorry to say, you would need to call them to verify for yourself, but it would appear that upgrading a trial account now in-validates the 30-days free. Thats the question i 've been wanting to ask before i bought the xpac. I decided to just make a new account from scratch since im there is a warning msg that tells you that the free 30 days does not apply for trial accounts (when u sign up).
