Title says it all really but it is time to bring all the LU40 stuff out for testing. There are lots of changes coming that will effect players outside of the RoK content that needs to be tested.

Ummmm LU40 is RoK and that is being fully tested alreadyI'm in a position to know that non-expansion specific stuff is being tested, no don't ask how otherwise this will turn into an NDA thread.

For some reason I don't believe you. The non-expansion stuff never gets properly tested with proper feedback given. We have been through this three times already with DoF, KoS, and EoF. All the beta testers just screw around trying find all the world wides before they go live. The result was tons of non expansion stuff was broken or horribly unbalanced. History has a way of repeating itself and from what I heard we going down those lines again. Lets not pull another LU13 please.

Wow talk about rude... Thanks for labelin every beta tester... why dont we just skip the beta and just let it go live...

Ppl like u that I HOPE never get in betas, u have no idea what it like in beta by your comments.  U expect every single bug/exploit to be found/fixed in 1-2 months?  There is tons of testin being done by SoE and ppl outside of SoE, not just tryin to get WW 1sts.  U really need to think b4 u type by the looks of things...

Anyways, LU 40 IS being tested if u think it is or not.  Glad we dont have ppl like U runnin this game...

No SoE doesn't let people like me in betas because I am perfectionist. Maybe I am the only one who thought it was hugely unprofessional of them to release EoF with all the KoS raid zones broken. Was it too much for you beta testers to run Labs and feedback the parses?

Just my two cents since I acutally beta tested EoF.

On the KoS zones people thought it was broken because some guilds were unable to clear and even get anywhere in the zone.  I believe nothing is going to ever be "Perfect" you are talking about human beings that create, monitor and adjust this game.  Give them a chance.  If it was the way you wanted the game wouldnt come out ever on schedule it would probably be delayed a year.  Cut them some slack they pull off a mircale by getting this content together and ready to go.

For someone who proudly displays characters that are not on test I am pritty sure your here only to voice your oppinion loudly, but really do not have a clue what a bug would look like.

Sorry, but you don't know what you are talking about.  Both on an on-going basis on Test, as well as in betas, there is a huge amount of testing and detailed feedback that occurs (and yes I have participated both on Test and in betas in the past).  It is unfortunate that even with all of that it is  still impossible to find every bug, and even when major bugs become known, documented, and are reported by multiple people, corrections may not make it in before deadlines push things live.   I find it interesting that you ask to have the non-expansion content brought to Test, as I can't believe that anyone with your attitude plays on Test regularly.  Test does an awesome job with the small population that they have, but they of all people are aware of how much testing actually happens before things go live, and how many bugs are reported over and over but still make it live.  However, as you apparently feel that it would be of an advantage having the folks on Test test LU40, you can rest assured; I think it is fair to assume that some number of those regular testers are involved in the beta.  They certainly have been in past betas.

yeah sure.. beta testers are not only interested in item discos... thats also why kos raid content was not tested at all in eof beta and then had to be fixed later on live servers because noone in beta bothered trying out the combat system changes with kos mobs....

This beta is being run differently than all the previous ones, all fan faire attendees as well as the equinox magazine subscribes got invited on top of the folks that applied for beta didn't they? Its seems to me if that doesn't cover the testing, nothing will.

in the past soe did invites the following way: 1st where the devs themselves, then special people, then regular invites by random, then load test with bigger number of randoms. now with rok it was the same except for the regular invites being sold via mag / fan faire.

Call me crazy, but isn't the purpose of beta testing an expansion to test all the new content?  I can understand some people going through and testing some old content toward the end of beta, but the main focus is the new stuff.  When I beta test, I know I focus on the new stuff.

Actualy u couldnt be more wrong... I was in NPU when we were all in EoF beta, and the first couple weeks, we tested KoS Epics, all the Instances.  Gave /feedback and lots of /bug

Testers can only do so much, its the Devs that have to fix it, and sometimes that doesnt happen with a snap of the fingers.

Geez some of u ppl get to worked up over this stuff.

What I think is that this topic is a hate topic for all beta testers SMILEY

A lot of you dont know what happens in beta if you haven't been in it so just leave us to our jobs and when a beta comes to a live server/test server on release date then you get to test it your self for both test servers/live servers so be happy for what the live/test servers have now SMILEY

That's a wrap!If you don't have anything constructive to say -- whether you're starting a thread or replying to one -- it's best to leave it unsaid.  SMILEY
