A missing mask

I tried to start The Missing Mask-quest.I did find the crate in the corner of the basement (so I have access to the basement).But when I examine the box nothing happens. No message or nothing. What needs to be done to start this quest? Is it maybe needed that you before you start the quest the two other related quests ("The Red Marble" and "The Boar's Head&quot SMILEY

must be done?Any help would be very welcome.Femke.

What did it say when you examined the box? There's two boxes down there. Ones for the Missing Mask and the other is for the War and Wardrobe quest.

What did it say when you examined the box? There's two boxes down there. Ones for the Missing Mask and the other is for the War and Wardrobe quest.

The War and Wardrobe quest I have already done. As far as I know is the small cate all in the corner of the room the one I need for The Missing Mask.Strange thing is that I when I examine the crate I see the status-bar go all way up, but there is no message given with a reason for failure.But I found out something else strange. I did the access quests for the basement for Nek Castle a long time ago.I can open the hidden door to basement by turning the candle in the castle. I can open every door in the Sisters bedrooms. I can walk down to the room with Lord Everling without any problem. So in my opinion I have done all access quests.But when I look up my completed quests I can find nowhere an entry for the "The Everlings Lockets" (that is access quest for the basement?).As I said, this all has been done long ago... Could it be that something has changed why the access quest doesn't turn up in my completed quest book? If so, it is a SoE support matter then?Thanks,Femke.
