I am returning to the game after and extended leave--left just before the first expansion. Where should a lvl 50 Swash go for some soloable or light grouping content?

![]() Well if you don't have any expaintions there really is no place to go, so first step would be to get the EoF expaintion from a retailer and NOT directly from SoE, this will include all three expaintions todate and let you lvl to 70. Also be aware that the game is VERY differant from when you left, so you may just want to start a new toon and hold off buying the expaintions until Mid-Nov when RoK comes out wich will also included all expaintions. If you can't find the expaintions in a store try Direct 2 Drive as it sells the All in One version too. Now if you have DoF then your next stop is Sinking Sands, start with the quests on the beach and follow them to the end. If you also have EoF I would START in Lesser Fadwar and Steamfont(as the upper end quests here in SF will be green and blue(wich you can earn AAs off of)) then move on to Looping Plans(57ish-70) and Pillars of Flames(55-60), as well as the KoS zones 55ish-70 |

![]() If I don't have the expansions, is there any "old" world mobs/quests that give AA---can I even earn AA w/o an expansion? Will the new LoN cards drop off "old" world mobs--or will I need an expansion to have a chance at those? |

Read up on AA and where to hunt for it at your current level and how to get it from mentoring.

If you only have the original game and none of the expansions, I actually don't think you can progress beyond 50... and if you can, you're going to run out of experience giving mobs eventually. Without an expansion, you'll never get to partake in level appropriate content.

If you have NO expansions you can not earn aa or level above 50 as far as I know. DoF raised the cap to 60. KoS gave us class aa's and raised the cap to 70. EoF gave us subclass AA's. So your best bet is to buy retail EoF as the previous poster said as you get access to DoF, KoS, and EoF and both aa trees and can then level to 70. Or wait for RoK on Nov 13th and the retail of that will have all the expansions included as well. Good luck coming back..read up on the class forums and I too would recommend rolling a new toon to get a feel for the game again. Also a 50 with no aa's will find it MUCH harder to get to 100 aa's then a new toon that will start earning them at level 10.

Without either KoS or EoF you cannot get AA's at all, the first tree was came with KoS (the rogue tree for you), the second tree came with EoF (swashie tree). Most (not all) quests even in the old world do indeed give AA xp if you have either KoS or EoF. |

Buy the EoF all-in-one from Direct 2 Drive. Then adventure in either Sinking Sands, Pillars of Flame, Mines of Meldrath, the upper end quests of Steamfont, or Lesser Faydark. Starting at 55, abandon the desert all together and fight in either Lesser Faydark, Tenebrous Tangle, Barren Sky, New Tunaria(Felwithe), Meldrath's, or the Court of Innovation.
