If i come back... will i be too behind the curve???

Hi everyone.... i took a 9 month break from the game and was wondering if i would be way way too weak to compete for dps in raids...Currently i remember i had a GDoH/DoN (and was owning on the parses) combo and was looking for full adornments but.. has the DW changes made it more fun to be assassin??oh that and was only lacking 3 masterswhat has changed for us>???I really am interested to come back for epic weapon... thats whats got me intrigued

You should be alright. There's not a ton of upgrades that you really need in EOF to do okay. There's some nice contested loot but in the instances not so much that makes a difference in DPS. You'd want to improve your second weapon by doing the SoD quests and hopefully killing Mayong somewhere. (even the legendary version would be better than DoN). You want the crit jewelry from the league quests, and of course a Zek Cloak. The instanced gear beyond that is mostly small improvements with some exceptions. The DW changes are good for the most part except there's more competition for a lot of 1h drops.

Yeah i had my zek cloak when i left...but was debating if the 2% crit cloak is more beneficial with my huge spread weapon..... i also have some decent adornments.... and one of the FT quest earings (the+1 crit one ...)Oh yeah i had to respec the pred line.....cause the game took all my points off

QFEpretty much the main thing you'll want to grade is your DoN for soulfire, gdoh will be a good mh weapon until you get the fabled sod.I'd only add that you'd want the dhampyre's linksteel as well - 2% melee crit bp; apart from that most kos stuff is still pretty good, and will let you parse well enough to get into any guild you want, definitely do the league quest line while you are in cmm for the sod though; it rawks. (as does the zek cloak)

You can't be worse off than any of the many recent level 70's, we've had a lot of ex EQ1 players join the servers and ramp their way up the levels. In comparison your pretty well equipped.Welcome back!

yo Skratt, welcome back!

your gear looks pretty good imo, with RoK coming out the playing field will be generally level for everyone so you arent going to be very far behind.

Hey raina... whats this Retired stuff in your sig!!!! BTW working as hard as i can to get my SoD hahaha first i gota get with a raiding guild that can use my help ... or piggyback someone who is on farm status (i dont like the idea but... hell)So far on statues ugh..... this part sucksyah i been comparing my gear.. i lack still those +2 crit items from CMM i was working for when i left... main goal of course is sod (il make GDoH offhand... replaced in T8most probably)BTW i dont remember how one gets kickass MM cloak... is it from pwning Mayong??

There's two cloaks that drop in MMIS: 25% haste, 2% melee crit ("cloak of the kindred") from the two orange vamps before mayong, and Mayong drops a 30% haste, 2% melee/spell/heal crit cloak ("mistmoore's cloak"). Depending on your gear they're probably slightly better than the Zek cloak. It's a decent slot to get haste in as well. If not haste from there, most people wear the DT bracelet if you're not killing avatars.
