What do you prefer (1 for tanking, 2 dpsing):

- bow with adorn +10 dps

- item with proc when casting spell (i;e protector of fitzpitzle)

- item procing a ward and adding disruption when castin (i.e crafted from egg)

- symbol for stat and resists ( i;e symbol of the tactician)

- symbol with + divine damage ( i;e ogham stone from Prince Thirner in EH)

I have always used the stat resist ones. I need to try some of the proc and ward stuff. And bows...I used one about five times when they let us use them and then went back to spells.

I believe I use Novum Tectum from CMM  for dps, and Beerstained Keg(collection reward(kaladim)) for tanking.. SMILEY<img src=" width="15" height="15" />

it would really depend upon what you are trying to do...  If you are OT, then you probably would want something that has a proc + divine damage adornment, if you are tanking, you may need it to fill in where you are weak for tanking (stats, health, etc).

As a group MT I almost always use a symbol with stats & resists....something that adds + divine damage would be nice as well I would think.

The only bow I carry around is the one from the HQ and I really only use it when we're just fooling around.

I honestly don't know how I ever got by without a bow (pre-EoF). Now that we can use them, I honestly can't see a reason why we ever wouldn't. Have you ever seen a Guardian or Zerker without a ranged weapon? As tanks that is something we need.

What bow do you guys recommend? I do not raid so any of those drops are out but anything that might show up in heroic content I should keep an eye out for?

Do the bow adornment +10 dps affect all dps or just ranged dps?

Not sure if paladins can choose this, but I hear bow of bylze(reward from early claymore quest) is very good due to high delay.. if not just try and get the bow from goblin in unrest(blood pool). Or do the Raincaller HQ.

I use a symbol for the resists. If anyone knows a bow that has a good set of resists I would like to know myself.

I use the Symbol of the Tactician w/ a +45 divine damage adorn. I could prob get a bow with a +dps adorn, but I really like the symbol.

well bows for paladins are *uhm*... but this is just my opinion. Imo the original way of not being able to use bows was just fine. Paladins have spells for pulling... and yes while bow is a manafree initial dmg whiel pulling, i'd still not use it... eh. Dunno, but lately i've tried more the RP aspect in this game and i have kinda liked it. SMILEY++Xan

bow all the way... how much time do you waste pulling with spells when you not only have to get closer, but you have to stand still lest you interrupt them?  I use wuoshi's bow normally, longarm for situational pulls, and symbol of the tactitian for resists.

I have alot of stuff i switch out on range slot, the unrest bow if i am reducing agro in a tank heavy group(with the detaunt on it and nice damage).  The Novem TEctum symbol for normal tanking as it has some very nice well rounded abilities on it, and the graphical look is cool.  The Raincaller on herioc content that i am fooling around with, the Longarm for the total 55 meter range pulls that make rangers wonder what you are using, especially after their miracle shot change.  Plus a few other symbols that i toss in there for resist gear macros and such.  Normally if i am not needing the extra resists/health/power from the Novem symbol i use the 10% dps adorned bow for more power free battles(the dps adornment is like the neck piece so all melee and range damage is increased by 10%).

I hear some people talk about the 10% dps adorned bow. But as far as i checked, the 10 dsp adorn is for throwing ranged. so useless on bows, no? What am i missing SMILEY. Thanks in advance.

You are looking at a old list, when they first came out the only 10% range option was thrown weapons, but not long ago they put in some tinkerer adornments and the judicous one gives you 10% dps on a bow, you also have a power tap one and a few damage based ones too to choose from.

i use brimstone, you get just within range, fire it off and while it's casting run to where you want to be since it doesn't interrupt when you move and it will still hit even if you're out of range before it's finished casting...since it hits all the mobs in the group it's a little better than shooting 1 or 2 arrows at 1 mob imo, i'd rather have something with resists personally in that slot
