Alas, it does not seem to identify who voices "Dancer" near the claymore monument in Antonica.  Anyone know who that is?

Wow, too cool!

My favorite voice actor in the game is whoever plays the dwarf in the Qeynos Catacombs...

It is always fun to be able to figure out who voiced a certian NPC too from just listening to them.

Wil Wheaton (Weasley Crusher from ST:TNG) as Festus in Beggars Court

Richard Horvitz  (Zim from Invader Zim) as the gnome in Wailing Caves.  "Nice day for a bit of DOOM wouldn't you say?"

I know there are others, but those were the two who jumped at me first.

Dwight Schultz (Barcley on Star Trek, Murdock on A-team) voiced Kualden Swoonsong in Willow Wood, unfortunately the the quest was removed.

The gnome voiced by the Invader Zim guy is great... and Boomba too, the pickle-selling Ogre in WFP. " I AM BOOMBA! AND I SELL PICKLES!!!"

Anybody know who the female narrator is for the intro movie?  It sounds like Tilda Swinton to me, but the only "narrators" I see listed in the credits are men.  SMILEY

All of the voice actors come from the Los Angeles area.

Many of the voice actors from Ani-Maze are in the game as well. You'll hear Wendee Lee (Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, Yoruichi from Bleach) as numerous guards, merchants, and NPCs all across the entire game.

Rebecca Forstadt, most famous for voicing the main Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell, is "Mentha Haora" at the Steamfont zoneline in Greater Faydark.

Great resource. I noticed due possibly to previous hate mail SMILEY (I know I'd be tempted( there was no reference in particular as to who did the voice over for Nathan Ironforge.

Wally Wingert did the voice of the tradeskill trainer on the Trial of the Isle before they revamped it.

It's late and I am tired and just discovered this thread, but Cannix is also the Green Hood in Zek in the barn by Three Toes pond.  I'm sure we'll find him.

I always thought that several of the female brokers in Qeynos TS instances were Alyce Beasley, the squeaky voiced, dark haired actress who has done many cartoon voices and commercials and was Agnes the secretary in The old Moonlighting series.  And sure enough, it IS her.  I always liked her voice and am glad to know I was right.

 WAY cool thread!

Some of the voice acting is excellent - I love the "Come back here you coward!" and "Commander! I'll take my leave now!"

Some is annoying though - "Have you seeeeen a gnoll before?"

And some is er... strange to my ears. No disrespect, but the "English" accents are somewhat um, inaccurate. As are the Scot's. If it was the intention to immitate those accents, I'm afraid a little work is needed. I'd love to hear a Welsh accent in there somewhere and, if you need a Cockney Londoner one, I can do that for you! SMILEY

Yeah, some of you may not believe this, but it's true.

My Dad is one of them. Brian Cummings is his name. He's more famous for some of his character voices from the 80's that people my age (26) tend to watch. Papa Bear in Berenstein Bears, Dr. Mindbender in G.I. Joe, Bumblelion in the Wuzzles, and a whole slew of others.

In EQ2 I think he did Hwal (the dwarven boots guy? I don't remember)...

His most famous video game thing is that he did Sokolov in Metal Gear Solid 4. He's just getting into video games. It's a rough transition because voice actors don't get paid very well for video games in comparison to other stuff. The union hasn't caught on to the popularity and isn't able to negotiate higher prices for them, but that's hollywood for ya, eh? I'm sure it will change, and he is doing some video game stuff still, but he mostly does announcing since he's getting older and his voice is changing.

Here's another one that people like... the one voice he does that makes people the most impressed is "And now for your feature presentation" on any Disney home video.

Watch the trolls come out and try to dis me. Sorry guys, it's entirely true. He's my Dad.

There are two I want to know:

1) The guy who did the voice for Iksar 2 in the audio emotes sounds EXACTLY like Chris Latta, who voiced all kinds of cartoon villains in the 80s (Starscream, Cobra Commander, Rasp).  I'd swear it was Chris Latta but he is quite deceased.  I do my emotes on my main all the time to hear the voice.

2) The girl who did the voice for Chrna, the Ratonga in Temple Street who "stole the rumbly".  I loved that voice and I used to do that quest over and over again just to hear those lines.  Such a pity they removed that quest.  Is there a way to access these audio files from our computer?

I remember hearing the merchant in the Qeynos Mage Tower and thinking "That sounds like Grim".Low and behold, it is.

There's a good chance that that is Steve Blum. He's famous for doing many anime roles including Spike Speigal from Cowboy Bebop, and Orochimaru from Naruto. He can extend his voice into a raspy range, just like Vilgax and Ghostfreak from Ben 10. Steve already voices other iksar in the game too.

The good, funny and heartwarming voice-acting was the main reason I opposed the removal of all the so-called "Runaround" quests in the cities and its suburbs. A crying shame it is. I miss some of them a lot.

Bring the voices back! Back, I say.
