did a meteor hit the QA department?

just curious been a long time since iv seen an QA folks on test, besides the wonderful galatee once in a while( exceptional person btw, keep that one) just kinda wondering whats up? testers only forums is virtually unused, whats going on? oddly enough been having better luck finding out whats going on from dev posts on eq2flames than here, they seem to know whats coming to test before we do, seems a touch off

QFT. I actually saw a QA yesterday or the day before. The name was Gray.

I guess they're just busy. E3, Fan Faire, working on RoK, preparing for beta, ...

I saw Botheg on Test late last week. As far as knowing what is coming with this next GU, that's because a couple fansites were given exclusive previews to some stuff, and what we learned was put not only on our sites but has been also promoed in the Community News forum since late last week. (I didn't crosspost anything about it here, as I figured any crafting addicts would see it there, or in the crafting forums, or in Norrathian homeshow .... ;D)

Nope, Lucky is right. Testers shouldnt have to go to fansites to find out what is coming.

Not be harsh but, seeing Botheg on once in the past week isnt the same as having a QA that is there on test as much as Venos was. E3, Fanfaire, new expansion is *no* excuse to 'abandon' test especially now that test server and testers have been coming under fire from the live community for various reasons.

The plat spammer thread here on the tester board has gone completely unanswered and there hasnt even been an attempt by QA, CS or anyone to make it a point to log onto test during these spam sessions and catch them in the act.

I just saw the amount of dev postings on that flamer site and I am amazed.

I truly hope that they aren't going to garner all their idea for RoK from that place. AFAIK we aren't even supposed to link to that place on these forums, yet they have better information posted there than here.

That's pretty bad.
