I have been playing on test server a little lately and must say the new dressing room feature is great! I have been taking screens of the Echoes of Faydwer Armor Sets... I decided I would post the pictures here. I must say to people who think a lot of the armor is ugly, obviously haven't seen these sets. For the weapons I just found ones that looked cool and matched the class. Enjoy. (Note: A lot of these are on Iksar, but the newer ones aren't since people wanted to see them on different models) Bruiser Monk Shadowknight Paladin (Coming Soon) Ranger Assassin Necromancer Conjuror (Coming Soon) Defiler Mystic (Coming Soon) Warden Fury (Coming Soon) Berserker Guardian Illusionist Coercer (Coming Soon) Inquisitor Templar Brigand (Coming Soon) Swashbuckler (Coming Soon) Dirge (Coming Soon) Troubador (Coming Soon) Wizard (Coming Soon) Warlock (Coming Soon)

Nice idea, though maybe a more 'usual' character shape would be a better one to use to show these?

I've seen the defiler and mystic sets =( and I think they were shafted on EOF fabled armor looks.

Identical to the set that drops in Acadichism except (at least in the mystic's case) a far worse color combination.

I love that someone is making a 'how armor looks' post though =)

/em grimaces in pain to look at another picture of the templar set with the gear not matching. It is really sad that the vast majority of EQ2 players will not ever get to see the templar set in its full glory.  Not only that but the SOE graphics artists did put in a lot of work to make a matching set of armor, but no one gets to see it because there's too much "shine" on the arms and gloves of the set which washes out the underlying pattern. I am sure that Xakkoriz wasnt even aware of the graphics bug.  It is not uncommon for me to have someone tell me after they inspect me... wow, you do have a full set of eof fabled.  Your shoulders dont match. And, I have to explain that they are bugged, and that they need to turn off their complex shaders in order to see my set closer to what they are intended to look like.

Taking the same armor and just changing the colors does not make it look good. All the mage armor is just a color swap... yet again.  You could just post pictures of the class hats, then one set of armor and bam there ya go you know what every one can look like.

Cool thread. I liked checking out all the cool EoF sets. The Templar helm really needs some help though...we never get a good one :/ That EoF is the same as the ugly one from the Customized Hooluk class helm. I have never seen a Templar /showhelm with our class hat. It is just too ugly, people usually ask what it is cause they aren't sure....

Can't say I care much for them. The Illusionist in particular looks terrible. Actually terrible doesn't really begin to describe how ill I become when viewing it (maybe that was the intent ILL-usionist). Defiler, Beserker, and Ranger have good points, but aren't great. Can't say the same for the monk or bruiser, don't really like either of those. I didn't really look at the rest as I don't play those classes. Let me state again... The Illusionist one is just utterly absurd. Could the persons responsible for designing, approving, and implementing it please send me a PM so I can ask you WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? ~~~Shiver~~~

The funny thing about this is, that you need threads like this and dressing rooms to see full armor sets. Because you wont see them in game for the most part. the way armor drops in this game less then 5 percent of the population has 5 or more of any armor set.  And I am talking about no trade end game stuff, not stuff you buy from broker.  The good stuff hats off?  you got to be kidding me.......  Hats off I can see what they look like, although we can never get it.... Thats a very odd point of view

At least with this new feature there's more incentive to try to get a full set! Well, if your not a caster that is. Personally I'm more interested in the more esoteric and not often seen stuff. Like things from old world nameds nobody ever bothers killing any more and so on. Might be some real gems in there.

Going somewhat off topic... With the new dressing room thing people were linking items all over (I think I instigated it actually). I finally saw an item that I though looked kind of nice. Coat of Fascination... Which is part of the Troub set I think.

What bow is that you have with the Ranger set armor.  I was disappointed to see that my rigid scale bow didn't have any particle effect when I first equipped it.

The bow I had with  the Ranger armor is called 'Longbow of the Grove'. Also, Siclone, it's not really that hard to get Relic or EoF gear if you get in a raiding guild :-/. Not trying to come off as an [Removed for Content] or anything.

I already used some humanoid races heh, I'm going to add more without Iksars. Though, Iksar definitely don't ruin the pictures, they are awesome looking heh.
