Neriak where art thou?

Is there a way to get from, say the Baubbleshire to Neriak?

Do you mean just running there, or by betraying and having Neriak as your home city?

There is...you go to CL, then hang a left from the spires....past Lucan's mount on the right (just follow the road). Walk through the tunnel to Darklight Woods. Follow the road till you reach a T. Take the right turn. Follow the road till it forks, don't take the right fork...that will take you to Hate's Envy. You'll reach Neriak. Though, be warned...it's pretty well guarded...so you might want to bring a raid of lvl 70 friends to take out the guards.

You can access Darklight Wood from either the Commonlands or Nektulos Forest. You can enter Neriak from Darklight Wood.

Jusr remember if oyu run to Neriak from Baubbleshire the guards in darklight will probably take offense at a good aligned person and proceed to turn you in to floor art or pate

Ah thought the gate in Nek Forest was a direct etrance to Neriak, did they change that or did ah just get that wrong?

I don't think it's ever been, in EQ2 the only way to get into Neriak is through Darklight.
