I currently live just south of Seoul in South Korea. In case that matters I'll put that up first.

I have no problems playing EQ1, WOW, LOTR, Lineage 2 but for some reason I just cant get EQ2 fired up.

When I select a character at the character select screen and click "PLAY" the loading screen opens and nothing happens for a few seconds. Then a second screen pops up and shows a progress bar flickering around and lots of stuff loading. Then "poof" back to character select. Its an endless loop so far.

Thanks.

edit: Thought it might be firewalls...I removed all firewalls from my PC and still no change.

Ahy help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. This is happening to me as well. It seems to only be happening in certain zones. Is North Freeport on the Unrest server currently down? It is also happening in the Fae Starting area on Nagafen server for me. Not sure if this is a firewall issue or a server issue or what?

Probably a firewall issue; could you create your own thread with the information we request in the read before posting post?
