![]() If anyone sits at the SS carpets and spam's the "F" Key, it makes the carpets completly unusable. They never refresh. Which means unless your call is up, your stuck in SS able to be greifed over and over again. I know countless petitions have been sent in on this issue, either ban the players using this exploit, or fix the carpets plz. |

It would be a nice change, just for group coordination if nothing else. Keep it in line with the kos clouds. Nothing more exciting than having to jump off halfway because you don't want to fly one after another into possible pvp.

Greetings Arkarius, Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment In-game Customer Support Department. This is CSR - Loila at your service. I understand that a player can hold back the 'Carpet' in the sinking sands and thus stop the other players to fly away. Please note that this is not considered as exploit. It is working as per the game design. A player can use such features on PvP server. If you have a feedback on this issue then I encourage you to submit a feedback form about this issue using /feedback command in game. This ensures that the correct personnel view your opinions and concerns. Please understand that in-game CSR's are not members of the development team and cannot change the game design. You may also wish to post your feedback onto the forums where it can receive the more exposure from the rest of the EverQuest II community. This way other players can comment on your ideas too. If there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Thank you for playing EverQuest II. May you have many fine adventures in Norrath! Sincerely, GM Loila In-game CSR EverQuest II Sony Online Entertainment I would recommend everyone /feedback this issue.

![]() Response (GM Feldman) - 04/14/2007 03:23 PM Greetings Stylin, This is GM Feldman and I have read your petition about the players locking the carpet in Sinking Sands. I am sorry to hear about this happening. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will be investigating the matter and if I find players locking the carpet I will deal with them personally. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you find you need assistance with another issue please petition again and we will be more then happy to try and assist you in the matter. Take care and safe travels, GM Feldman Be nice if anyone at SoE knew what was going on. |

![]() The first GM response was correct. The game currently allows this, it's not an exploit of some kind. /Feedback is an appropriate way to deal with it (as is this thread). now.. back to my forum's persona.. That's frigging [Removed for Content]. Dev's should get on this right now, the carpet should lock when you FLY, not when you just spam it.. until you fly, anyone can use the carpet Now someone should try to do something about the griff tamers that the reds sit on and try to prevent poor little lowbies who are questing from clicking on the tamer before the raids fly in behind them.. |

![]() I personally vote for GM Feldman. Stopping people from getting away is one thing, but locking the carpet up for hours is another. I don't understand how exploiting game mechanic's and making people not be able to return to Qeynos until there call is up, is a viable pvp tactic. Last I knew that was considered griefing. |

Anyone can get an evac. classes that get some form of evac can actually get up to four of them... if you don't, ohnoes, you can only get 3 Be prepared, or be destroyed. I'm a big fan of the former. |

![]() they should fix the carpets, i have always wondered why you can only fly one at a time, it should be just like the KoS clouds especially so you can keep you group together. but they should also fix the long immunity everyone gets and being able to make it through zones with it, they also need to fix the whole inspiration engarde combo that is way overpowered, and the fury energy vortex in pvp, shall i go on.. |

![]() Bruiser drag, and then a fury root, IMO is a perfect legit way to keep people from leaving. You still have a chance to get away. Spamming the carpet gives you no chance. The carpet is unusable till they decide they've killed you enough. And in all the other zones, there is another way to get back to Qeynos or Freeport. You can go a different way. The carpet at the docks in SS is the ONLY way back to Qeynos or Freeport. Its not like you have a second route. |

Don't know you from adam, but if you cloud/carpet camp i can make some reasonable assumptions. Your grammar just hammers those assumptions home Fix the carpets so that you can't lock them up.. this could be a PvE issue as well, since it's essentially an in-game denial of service attack.. |

Splitpaw shard, locket of escape. You can /camp for an hour and go home laster when call is up. It's not that difficult. Btw, if you simply stay in immunity at the beach, a warden could carpet in, evac to your rez point, and portal you wherever. Oh yeah, and an inquisitor can send you home too.. not sure if templars get that spell. The point is that those using this method to get pvp kills are lamers. They probably hugged the guards and the zones all the way up as they leveled, so as to avoid anything resembling a challenge. Now they sit at the carpet with their forces waiting for small groups or solo's to come along to kill? Yes.. this defines pvpers who truly are teh suck. |

LOL, and you lvl 70 people wonder why so many people level lock in lower tiers. *rofl* Griefing solo's and preventing them from playing the game is your answer to needing a fight? You think the number 1 way to get a fight is by griefing? You're an EXILE! Type /leave, and FIGHT AWAY! You have chat across the exiles, right? Find another guild to fight with! That kind of tactic isn't looking for a fight, it's looking to be a bully that exploits in order to get your [Removed for Content] up about ruining someone's game play. I can picture it now, they're all on vent, talking frickin frenchy, eating coisants and snickering at the poor solo guy just trying to get home to maybe check his broker, tradeskill, or god forbid repair. If you're having trouble finding a fight in T7 as an exile, you have no one but yourselves to blame. |

I could care less if you level up or not. We have enough idiots in T7 so by all means stay locked. As i said before, 8 months ago if we had done that a fp raid would have zoned down. 4-5 times a week we had x2vx2, x3vx3, x4vx4,x5vx5 battles on the SS docks for control of the carpet. Zone control is without a doubt by far one of the best ways to get a fight. How do you define ruining someones game play on a pvp server? Youre just a bully that twinks out at low levels and kills people with app1s and treasured gear to get your [Removed for Content]up while keeping them from level(ruining their game play?). As much fun as it is to fight each other as exiles, we like to kill people who we arent friends with from time to time. You know the people we get money, fame, or credit for. Is this like dankshastas other account or something? You two are a little to similar in your ignorant accusations and assumptions about T7. |

And no, i'm not dankshastas.. but i still think that griefing another player and using unintended exploits to harass them is cheap and lame pvp. |
