Ok, I don't know what has happened, but I have noticed that my bruiser is now taking for ever to drop a mob. He is lvl 49 4,4, and 8 strgth and 4,4, and 8 int. I don't know what is going on but I am noticing that I can't hold aggro at all, it takes 3 weeks to auto attack (well not that long...but), all my combat abilities take forever to refresh, and out of combat regen is taking forever with lvl 50 food and drink!!! What gives? I loved this toon and now when I grouped I am constantly loosing aggro....I mean it takes so long just to make a punch and I am constantly pressing the taunt key just to try to hold aggro only to loose it and never get it back. Is anyone else having this/these problems? I was with a bruiser the other day who is not using the strgth line up aa's and he was using the common everday mastercrafted weapons, four lvls lower than me and he was awesome! I look at my toon and I am disappointed. He said he is only in the int line up maxed out. What gives? Please help.

Every toon I grind up I find the 40's [retty lame.. though nothing compares to 55-60. I hate DoF so much now.

If you haven't done all the quests in Steamfont, do those and maybe start the once in Lesser Fay.  I just recently grinded up my Brigand and late 40 and most of 50's flew by by doing those quests.  Also some quests in Sinking Sands, but I hate DoF in general.

the 50ties grinding equipement:

- get two six packs of beer

- pizza (not the diavolos)

- red bull

- snacks

- a group of 5 companios (they all need to be mental stabil)

go to pof - go up to the terrasse where the giant zyklops are and start to grind in a circle. again and again. throw in xp-potions. trink beer constantly, eat and grind. never leave the seat, just for the urgend toilett call. when you reach lvl 60 u should do a brake and resocialize (talk to girlfriend etc...)

if you want to lvl easy - go questing in eof.

EOF is key to success and tons of AA here.  From about 42, start in steam.  Ends up leading in and out of Klakanon.  From about 50, hit Lesser Fey quests at GF entrance and Loping entrance.  Around 54 - hit TT in KoS for baskets and armorer quests a few times (good money, easy xp and AA).  Late 50s, tons to do - Lesser Fey in BB entrance area quests, Mines of Meldrath, Clefts in SS and Roost, Court of Innovation in Klak, the list goes on.

Dont forget the solo quests on the docks of SS, very quick, real easy and good AA.

At level 48 I decided my bruiser was not worth the effort and decided to retire him and role something else. Best in-game decision I ever made.

Well I just don't see the point in playing a tank that stinks compaired to other tanks. Also I play on the pvp server so kills and survivablity is important to me and I think the is bruiser just is not up to par in that respect. The monk is just as bad btw. Anyway I am having having fun raiding on my Troubador and PvP'n on my Warden. I put a lot of time and effort into that bruiser with over 27days of gameplay so I will not go back to playing bruiser unless the dev's seriously rethink the class and give them some major buffs.

My Bruiser is the only toon I didn't hate in her high 40's/low 50's. All the others took quite an effort to get past that stage. Bruiser cruised through it like there was nothing to it and she's been cruising ever since. She can tank, DPS and above all, do quests while they're still orange and yellow. By using Feign Death she can go pretty much anywhere. Regular mobs are doable up to 6 levels above her with one arrow up (if they are higher than that she misses a lot so it's very hard but still possible with a bit of luck) and heroic mobs can be soloed at white con. I have spent quite a bit of money and harvesting time on getting her Combat Arts upgraded but other than that she has nothing spectacular, like Fabled equipment or anything.

By 27 days of gameplay I mean 660 hours of gameplay and 18000 npc kills. That is more gameplay and more kills than some people that are level 70. I had every one of my CA's mastered and it was still a pain to tank or bring down most other classes in PvP. I never once solo'd a white con heroic or even a blue con and even yellow single ups gave me some trouble. My warden can solo white cons by root nuking or by AoE'ing multi mob encounters. A toubador is not a great solo'er but it is not ment to be. The troubador shines in groups while my bruiser just sucks the life out of them.

Just because you suck at the class doesn't mean it's a bad class. My bruiser was a blast to play from 1 to 70 and I still love playing it. In PvP bruisers are a very well rounded class, and we can take down a wide range of classes. Healers and Swashbucklers kill us, but we stand a fair chance against anyone else.

Yeah... your just a quitter LOL. I would wager that once you get your warden to 49 you'll quit that and roll a swashbuckler...
