Hi Everyone, I was wondering if someone had a list of all the learnable languages that are in game (purchased, mob dropped and quested).  I am trying to gain them all on one of my characters and I would really like to see what languages I have remaining.  On a second note is the only way to attain qeynos  <-----> freeport languages when you are of one city still only accessible through betrayal? Thanks in advance.

On the second note, pretty much.  There are exceptions: 1)  Koada'Dal can be gained by Freeport characters as part of the Godking series of quests, or soon a primer that can be purchases. 2)  Tier'Dal can be gained by Qeynos characters during the Bloodlines adventure pack. I wish there was a way now for Freeport characters to learn Stout, the halfling language, as there are quests in Rivervale that require knowing it.  My FP-based guardian has it because at the time she was able to sneak into Baubleshire and get it from the vendor while invis.  That's no longer possible.  Fortunately FP characters can get the quest to learn Faerlie from the quest-giver without having to betray.

Nope. Thexian is the Bloodlines quest language. It allows you to talk with some merchants in Freport. And both evil and good players can do that quest. And "Faerlie" is I assume (but could be wrong) fairy or whatever their language is called. And that language comes from the patches fairies drop. There use to be a merchant on the nek docks that sold a primer but I forgot what it was.

This link is great.

Also note that some languages are coming to freeport, via the new test updates.  When they go live I have no idea.

Ah, didn't know that it was 'thexian' in bloodlines.  I did the Marr side with an FP character, so already knew Tier'Dal. Faerlie is the language of the Fae, which is different than the language of the fairies.  You can only get it from a quest, starting from an NPC in Kelethin.

Ahh thats what you meant. OK.

As far as thexian goes this is totally different than tier'dal. Both good and evil can do the marr quests in front of the Tome of Night in Nek Forest. It's a good language to know and has unknown (to most) potential but thats still classified top secret.

Sorry but if I told ya I would have to kill ya.  SMILEY
