There hasn't been a major live event (anyone remember the plague?) for quite a while now...I know they have been busy late last year with the release of EoF and the last adventure pack...but I'm still wondering if any major ones are planned for this year? I guess the Errolisi Day events would qualify as the most recent. I'm sure we'll hear about it, just curious if anyone thinks they have something in the works, or maybe they will just settle in and focus more on the next expansion? SMILEY

Their has been many events. How about Frostfel/Christmas? That was pretty major and it was recent. Brew Day should be coming up if they do it again this year. Be sure to keep your eye on news, forums, and patch notes. Erollisi one was a small one but we do get good sized ones too. They are a lot of fun. Can't wait for the next.

Erollisi's Day, Frostfell, Nights of the Dead are all examples of temporary events. The last truly live event I'm aware of was the building of the griffon stations in the Thundering Steppes and Nektulos Forest. I believe there was likely a huge budget cut following World of Warcraft's near immediate and continued dominance over the MMO market. As the bottom line tends to be revenues and not fun, per se, don't expect things to get better until Blizzard announces they've made all the money they ever wanted and close WOW which ought to happen right after an honest man gets elected president of the United States.

They bring that plague back and i'm quitting. That was the most annoying thing ever..lol. I did enjoy the building of the spires and being able to slay the dragon that came. Got a spiffy new title =).

I was hoping for some sort of a storyline / event for the implementation of Unrest.
