I noticed that one of my characters got a new tree feature on theirs later on when she decided to turn it on again in her home.  There was a snowy feature where snow covered the tree with a piece of rotating ice on top.  I can't seem to get it on my other characters' trees.  Is there a reason for this? Anyone know?

Well, not sure if this is the exact scenario, but...I did the tree quest with an altThen I did the "sparkly" quest with said altPlaced tree in house, and only had a few lighting optionsTook alt to Frostfell zone and did the McScroogle questWent back to house and had more lighting optionsI think you only get all the lighting options if you do both the sparkly quest and the mcScroogle quest. Freeport based toons for me that have completed the quests, so SFP for the tree/sparkly quest and WFP to enter Frostfell zone.Good luck!

I have done all 3 quests on 6 of my alts.  If able, I woudl advise doing them all.  You get some nice rewards if you enjoy the fluff.  There is the tree quest, then the wreathe quest after that (is teh same as the tree), then you get the Feelin Gifty quest which will give you more light options.  Inside frostfell is the McScroogle quest to get your book and your cloak.Enjoy them while they last SMILEY

There sure is a lot of confusion about the tree lighting options!  I've read several threads about it now.  I've completed the tree quest and the Feeing Gifty quest with two of my toons now (and one of them also has completed the wreath quest) and neither of them has an option for a snow-covered tree or to slow the tree down.  However, they haven't completed the McScroogle quiz.  Some say after they did that quest they had all the options, other say that didn't work.  Some people have had it work for one alt and not another.  Hmmm...As soon as the servers come back up and I can get into Norrath, I'll complete that maze with one of my characters, and I'll post whether that unlocked the extra options for me.  (As of now, I have a whole long list of tree options -- it's pretty fabulous, but I sure would like that snow-covered tree!Edited to say:Yep, came back from the McScroogle quest and had all the options!  Wheee!!!  Here it is, the snowy tree.
