Talking about the room in the 5 room houses we cant enter. (Well I cant and Im a gnome so I doubt its a height thing)How lovely would it be for the little door to be big enough to actually enter the room. The room is the space under the stairs I would imagine and is  would be perfect for a "ladies room" or a secret study!

The nice thing about that room is you can hide your ugly stacks of bear rugs in it :smileyvery-happy: I put like 20 of them in there in my Qeynos house hehe, my hubby has way more stuff in there since his secret room is bigger in Freeport. SMILEY

Under the stairs?

There's a room under the stairway besides the one up on the upper walkway near the windows?

I think that's the same thing. The Qeynos "secret room" tis technically under the stairs. As tis the Freeport "secret room."

Ive been wanting to get into the little secret room for some time now...then a freind of mine had a brilliant idea to use a spirit of the monky or snake totem to shapechange yourself small enough to fit thru the door..unfortunately when we tried this there is still an invisibile force feild that blocks your from entering..so i guess hiding an item or two in the little space is about all its good for..it just boggles me why sony would put that little trap door there just to tease us? sigh

During the Halloween haunted house quest, this little "room" was used.  There was a large rat hidden inside that you had to kill...  Any chance they actually thought of things like this ahead of time?  SMILEY  Or did they just use it because it was already there?

That;s what I been wondering, is if they put that secret room there for future quests like the haunted mansion.

Thanks for the link.  I knew this had happened to the tables, but hadn't realized the bearskin rugs were affected too. Gee, with all the things that need to be fixed and/or adjusted, this is what was done?  Guess they really don't want any of us to have five-room housing unless we do writs all day every day to keep earning status points.

Bearskin rugs haven't been nerfed yet, as far as I know. I've been away to FF, though. Beghn hadn't said anything about the reduction nerfing, and I don' remember anyone asking about it at FF.You CAN still get your status rent down to 0. You just have to work at it, and get plenty of rares to do it. My five room has had 60k worth (only needs 50k) of reduction, and not a single bearskin rug (or anything else in high quantities) in sight.

u can defineatly get your status down, i have 300 items in my 3 room, and i have 30,000 status.
with the new t7 rares and collection items giving such high status, it shouldn't be too bad getting 30,000 more for a SQ 5 room

I read somewhere that it was also used for the ranger quest (before you picked your final class at the start), but I didn't play any of the scout classes.

I asked about this on Test, and QA finally came back with the answer that it is an easter egg type thing, and you will never be able to walk into that room.
