Maybe I'm just doing wrong or perhaps I don't know about some control, but I find rotating furniture and books frustrating beyond belief because the items never rotate a measured amount of degrees, nor is it a continuous spin.Am I doing something wrong? Is it some setting on my mouse scroll wheel? Is there some additional control I'm not using that will magically allow me rotate at perfect 45 degree angles from the items original point? =)

You can also use the + and - keys on your numpad to rotate furniture and i find it easier using then instead of the mouse wheel. I find that getting the exact correct angle is still almost impossible even when using the keys. When I move lots of books I would really really really want a better way to control the rotation.

Mousewheel or +/- are the choices. I agree, it's kludgy at best and no fine controls are available. It takes hours to line up rows of books at the same angle. I wish they'd let us combine single books into a row of books hehe

Or, like me, you adopt the "eh, it looks well lived-in" theory and dont mind the books at slightly wonky angles, with weird spaces in between.......it looks more like my warlock went looking for a recipe and didn't put her books back away correctly
