We are making runs thru poets every night with multiple groups trying to get more shards. In the past 2 weeks our guild has gone thru poets over 20 times. No shards. This could just be incredibly bad luck. Thats fine. But I think there may be more to it. On atleast 4 occassions there has been a small old style wooden chest that drops. And it poofs a couple of seconds after it falls. We know to not disarm it. It just poofs. On the runs where a master chest drops there is no problem the chest stays and we get the loot but no scale is inside. Please look into this as there is a problem here still.

Done a dozen or so runs in the last 2 weeks, no silver or gold coins either.  Thought I was having bad luck...maybe they took em out accidently?

Yeah we also do PP every night with 3 or 4 groups, so thats about 15-20 runs or so I'd say.. None of us have got any dragon scale thingys.. [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]? I've had 2 groups report that thier chest just depopped on them before they could loot it, but I didnt see it myself.. but if you say its happening to your guild too something must be bugged.

The small chests are an issue and have been posted on numerous times without even a word that they are being looked at SMILEY

I was finally fortunate enough to get the gold scale after 2 months (dealing with a low drop rate, and then once that was "fixed" MULTIPLE poofing chests) simply because 3 items dropped in the chest, one being the last scale I needed, so the chest was larger than the one item small chest.

Hello everyone!

I finally found the issue on this chest today, and it is now fixed. The fix should arrive on live in the next few days.

Thank you for reporting the issue.

Does that mean scales will drop, the wooden broken chests have been taken out, or some combination of the two? SMILEY

Will you please now educate your GMs to not use the cut and paste method and deny this was ever a problem so that if they get any more petitions about it they can calmly explain that the chest poofing is a known bug and will be fixed for those people who never make it to the forums.

Thanks

Will you please now stop misusing the petition system? GMs can not fix bugs. /petition is not the proper avenue to try to report a bug. /bug, and posting it here is.

That's great & all but why don't you take the severs down right now & fix it.  After all, that what you would do if the situation was reversed and the chest were dropping to many items instead of none at all.

Zilten can you clarify your response a little for us? Were the scale drops bugged or just the poofing chest? Did your fix go in? I havent had any chest poof recently but I havent seen the old style chest either. Nor have we had any scales drop since your post. I havent seen any mention of this in the patch notes yet. (Havent seen todays yet, 12-15)Thank you

We had a gold scale drop 2 or 3 nights ago on Kithicor server and havent had any problems with his chests either lately.

The Scale drops were never bugged, just one of the possible items that can drop. If that 1 bugged item was the only thing the chest was going to drop, it would poof. If it was going to drop more than that item, it would work ok, you just could not see the bugged item.

The Scales always worked, although the drop rate has been adjusted up a few times. They now drop quite a bit more than they originally did.

The fix for the bugged item went in about 2 days after I posted about it originally.

Cheers.

ditto, used to get a drop (usually silver) every 4 or 5 runs.  Now done a run ever since the update, and haven't gotten a one.

I too thought the chest from the keeper was bugged but yesterday we had a gold scale, so it seems to work, although they are more rare than they used to be before the chest was broken.
