Popups on the forums?

As of today, I have noticed that there seems to be some sort of popups hitting me when I am on these forums. Yes even this one. I was checking out the rest of the In Testing batch and got 4 or 5 popups. I have blockers and the likes...not sure what is causing this..might want to have someone look and see if the boards have been hijacked recently with a spammer.

I'm not getting any (although I did recently have popups at Boston.com get through all my blockers). Is it possibly a case of spyware on your end?

I wont say that is impossible...no one can be 100% sure they dont have any spyware so I will go as far to say that I do regular checks with a couple of checkers and cleaners and found nothing out of the ordinary. Will keep a closer eye on it and see if it happens again or on any sort of standards.

There aren't any popups on the forums intentionally, and I haven't seen any myself.

one of the reasons why i've dumped internet explorer and disabled it. right now i run firefox 2.5, and dont have a problem. Try running spybot search and destroy http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html You'd be surprised what you can find on most systems..
