i am a brigand and look though other class bords and its kinda funny i found that most poeple refer to assassins/rangers as the new rogue... i meen serusly did anyone ever really play rogue and make the acurate comparison? i have played assassin on my friends acount and it is nothing like the old rogue... but hell this is the "new rogue" were talking about obvusly the new rogues couldnt be the rogue class... that would only be comon sence... all in all quit referring to assassins/rangers as the new rogue becouse there nothing like rogues... god what [Removed for Content]

They're not comparing assassins/rangers to EQ2 rogues, they're comparing them to EQ1 rogues. Those classes are the highest dps melee in their respective games but have very little in the way of utility.

Rogue in EQ1: highest melee DPS self-only invisibility positional based special attack poison use no group utility Rogue/Swashbuckler/Brigand in EQ2: group invis mez taunt poison use positional based special attack Predator/Assassin/Ranger in EQ2: self-only invisibilty positional based special attack poison use highest melee DPS no group utility You tell me which is a better match.
