Could you guys recount for me, in simplest layman terms possible, exactly what changes effect us specifically and it what ways. And how do I now change my strategy as a ranger to be most effective? Please keep it simple SMILEYUzziah, 42 ranger of Antonia Bayle

At level 42 the changes should me minimal.....

About the biggest change to you would be that, any procs off weapons (PGT, SSoY etc) are no longer proc'ing off your bow, only your bow is proc'ing off your bow.

The other major change won't affect you untill you hit level 55 and get Stream of Arrows, which when activated at Range would continue to fire if the mob closed into melee range. The skill still works and rocks when in a group, but its pretty useless soloing now.

The other thing you'll notice is you can double click your arrows in inventory and they will go into your quiver, but it bugs your bags.......pending a fix for that......and summoned arrows apear in your quiver as well, if there is room.

Personally I haven't noticed a huge drop in solo'ability, I was in PoF for an hour today up near the Giants Field soloing the birds and tornadoes, annihilating them as always with minimal downtime.

Hope this helps

Biggest change you will see....  You will now go through poisons like hotcakes.  Poison doses last at least half as long as before.  Which may indicate the poison is proccing more now.

Yah know I noticed the same thing and could swear it must be something with how they changed poison to show how many uses it has left, like its suddenly counting twice, if CB ever comes uptoday I'll run a little analysis

Could someone confirm for me if our poison proc is hitting a lot more often?  I haven't really played my ranger since LU19, but I was trioing with a Monk, Ranger and my Mystic.  These are guildies that I play with often.  Prior to the update the Ranger rarely took aggro from the Monk.  However, last night....doing the same things he used to do...he was pulling aggro about 3/4 of the time.  His best guess was the extremely large number of poison procs he was getting.  Once he realized that and changed his style a bit he stopped pulling aggro, but man did it make for some long fights.  :smileysad:  Just curious for the next time I play my ranger...I'll have to make sure I have a pally with amends on me!

I read somewhere that there was a bug that was allowing poisons to last longer then 200 procs prior to LU19.  I dont' think there was ever any confirmation of that, but we could never tell how many procs we had before.

No way of proving it but I always suspected that the poison proc count reset upon zoning.  Not talking about the amount of charges left on the vial but the amount of procs on the applied poison.  Seemed like when using poisons that I know didn't have lots of procs that they lasted longer when zoning between kills.  It was one of the things I was looking forward to proving or disproving when the count actually became shown.    Now you can see that it doesn't reset.  I've always had a good feel as to when the lesser proc poisons should run out and zoning seemed to mess that up.As for procing more now.  I really don't think so.  In the raids I've done before and after this change I am using about the exact same amount of poison.
