Adroit Master 1

I just bought Adroit Master 1 and wanted to see what benifit I got from it, so before I scribed it I examined my Adroit Adept 1

Adroit Adept 1

Power 48 I think not sure

Casting time 1 second

Recovery time 0.5 seconds

Duration 36 seconds

Recast 60 seconds

Increase AGI 9

Increase Parry 6

Increase Defense 9

So now I scribe the Master and I prepare myself to be awed since Adroit is a good skill to have.

Adroit Mater 1

Power 76

Casting time 1 second

Recovery time 0.5 seconds

Duration 36 seconds

Recast 60 seconds

Increase AGI 9

Increase Parry 6

Increase Defense 9

Thats right, the Master is actually worse than the Adept 1 because it takes more power to cast. When I saw this I immediately wrote a CS ticket. My respose back from the GM is that the Master skill is working as intended. Is this the case of another Ranger skill being broken?

Is Adroit still yellow/orange to you? Cuz I think you tend to notice more differences between levels the more skilled you are at using an art. So by the time it's white then the difference would probably be more noticeable, although you'd have to ask someone with adept I to compare by that time.

Yep like most ranger masters the only thing that changes is it drains more power

Ive stopped buying upgrades as they are mostly the same with higher power consumption. Make sure that you examine them before buying there are very few upgrades worth getting

actually.. last time i checked.. andtoit didnt raide my AGI .. it was 150 before.. and 150 after.

Just did mine, made me curious, went up 9 (adept 1).

I must not be understanding the logic in this thread... please, again, explain how this makes sense:

I can't justify spending the 4-8g on the Adept, let alone 4p+ for the master that only consumes more power and provides the EXACTsame stats? And what about the crafters making the adept IIIs? Where do they fit in? There is ABSOLUTELY no market for them for Ranger skills. This doesn't add up at all.

The prices on master/adept3 spells are rediculous and should drop to be more in line with the actual increase you get (provided there is any increase).

Just to be sure, did you check the actual agi gain in your personal screen?

Could be just a typo in the book.

the Agil gain is irrelevant anyhow as it doesnt stack wit hthe 15 min agil buff we get which is always up..
