Level 30 training choices

Maesyn's Entrapment: Decreases enemy defense. It has an extended range. Tolan's Senses: Increases ranged attack and stalk skills.Hager's Flanking Lunge: Requires stealth and a position behind the enemy. A melee attack with extra range that deals very high damage. Holly's Faerie Fire: A high fire damage stealth attack that deals additional damage over time.I chose Holly's Faerie Fire, it's grey at 35. I will try it later to see how it compares to Raven Embers.

I took Hager's Flanking Lunge and it is a really, really nice ability. It takes over Shadow Lunge and does a lot more damage. At 36 with dual feysteel epee's, I hit a max of around 600 damage. It cons yellow to me at 36. I'm glad I picked it.

I picked it also, and i'm lv 41 and guess what, even outdoes crippling blade which is the upgrade to shadowlunge

ouch, I picked Faerie Fire, which is decent enough, does more than shadowflame, and the dot is decent, but wow, wish i picked flanking lunge... grrrr

I also chose the flankin lunge, at 38 it has hit for 675 for me, still yellow to 40 I think. Also an important note you guys forgot to mention, Hagars is on a 45 second timer, not a 60 second timer like the skills it replaces, so it hits harder, faster. It costs 68 power iirc. I think it is probably the best skill set for this training selection.Merkades

wow, it hardly sounds like each of these choices are balanced. I'd say the lunge is the clear winner. What do you hit for with the adept three of the skill it replaces though ?

Well, with my adept3 shadow lunge my best hit at level 30 was 518. I have yet to match that with Hager's, but it comes close--and I can only assume that the damage on the new ability will continue to increase with level.

Chose Hager's here and as of today am 93rd on my server (AB) with a melee hit of 605 at level 33. Very happy with this choice SMILEY
