Crazy for Fae!

Hey, everyone...

I am considering making my main (to be a Fae, starting an all-Fae guild) an Illusionist, Troubador, or Warden. I am always completely focused on being the cutest in roleplay and one of the best helpers possible. I wish to prolong the group's survival by buffing, healing, or crowd control.

I am trying to decide... Which class is cutest for a little girly girl, mostly pink-colored Fae.

On top of that, I am trying to find out if my concept is right of the following:

Troubador: Mostly buff your friends, do some sneaky damage when you can.

Illusionist: Crowd Control, add in some dps and distraction with pets when you can.

Warden: My current main is a warden. Buff, dmg shield, and heal over time.

At any rate... Opinions are appreciated... PLEASE let me know if my concept of the class is wrong. I want the class that is both the cutest possible for my little Fae and a class that can also be seen as helpful in a buffing or healing way (even if it is PREVENTING dmg through crowd control).

Hearts,
Winter

Wow I really like that idea SMILEYThose Fae seem to be some kind of close-to-nature thingies so alot of ppl will prolly play a fae warden. Got a small warden myself, nice class but one of the most played healer classes. A Fae Troubador is something I havent even thought about.... since we (almost) cant do any crowd control anymore its only providing nice buffs and doing some (minor) dmg to the mobs. Think there wont be too many Fae Troubador (and there are not many troubs overall....) so maybe a nice combo. And a Fae Illussionist is surly nice - hardly ever see an Illu running around and its almost a unique occassion having one in grp - and then a fae illu? Id like that idea more then a fae troubador SMILEY And Illussionst also has at least a few grp effect thingys + his crowd control makes a (good) grp able to take even a few adds without any problems. So thumbs up for the whole idea, I personally would create the Fae Illussionist! SMILEY

Make a warden or an Illu please. The troub boards are somewhat lacking in posts, but we really don't need large font pink comic sans thankyou SMILEY

I plan on going Berserker with my Fae...because what could be more amusing than a butterfly winged fairy in red plate covered in flames making angry faces?

For your needs though, the Troubador would probably be what you're looking for as they're great team players especially with other casters (which most fae probably would lean towards). The only reason you might enjoy Illusionist is the Personae pet. What's cuter than one fairy? Twins! :smileyvery-happy:

In regards to "cutest in roleplay" (which I am interpreting akin to attractiveness, and actual rp elements) I'd go with troub.  Bards tend to be viewed as some of the most charismatic (both socially and physically) persons in a game.  A troub with its more magic-oriented arsenal and the ability to charm and mez seems to give good methods to rp with.  Then again, an enchantress also generally has a physical appeal (enchanting beauty if you will).  The change to illusionist doesn't fit the bill as much imho, maybe coercer would fit that better.  Lastly, warden would lead down a more nymph-like path (the seemingly naturally occuring unnatural beauty), and they are the fae, but I don't feel would convey a power of "cuteness" with its abilities. So I'd go with troub myself, but I can't get enough of bards in most games.

Just for the 'cute' factor, I don't think you have to pick a less aggressive class... I mean, you could be a Bruiser and still be adorable.  Perhaps more so, actually, because I'd find a tiny pink-haired flying thing beating the [haxx0r] out of a giant really adorable - although that's probably just me.  And as a tank you'd have the chance to use your outgoing-ness/proactivity in RP as you go for the enemies head-on.  (I'm thinking of a character called Yachiru, from the anime 'Bleach'; she's about 3 feet tall, and completely adorable, but she's one of the strongest women in the story.)
