This is how I work: Solo dual wield: Using Thornspine and cobalt falchion Self buff Pwr song Proc song attack speed raxxyls I primarily use this set up when I am just killing regular mobs and heroics Solo 1hander and shield: Using Scaled Schmiat and Glacial round shield Self buff Pwr Song Raxxyls Hp song Avoidance song\Dove song depending on lvl of the mob I use this whenever I am taking on a named mob as my proc song won't break mez and such. With this set up I can pretty much take on anything in the game, non epic ofcourse :p Just mez it, snare it, nuke it, mez it, repeat. With this set up my int is around 450 because of the sword and the shield SMILEY Now for groups....Depending on how many scouts\mages I have in the grp, I'll usually take attackspeed off and swap it for dove song. I find that troubs and their buffs are very situational and it's best to just adept 3\Master everything and swap things as needed. What's everyone else do?:smileyvery-happy:

Solo:
Mana regen
Defense
Agi/Int
Aria's (Proc Song)
(left open for charm)
I go one-hander with low delay, usually dagger and shield. Helps for defense and in case charm or mezz breaks. The low delay dager is usually a 1H mage weapon, they have good dmg output vs 1handing a dual wield weapon.

Group:
defense
mana regen
aria's proc/haste (depends on if im melee or magic heavy group)
str/sta
aggro reduc/haste (haste only if aggro management is good and its a balanced group between magic and melee) [Aggro reduc usually on paladin or shadowknight. sadly they have been gimped on aggro management]

Stifle as much as needed, Debuff all my debuffs, including hex-dolls. Once all this is done I go in for the damage hits. Usually by that point the mob(s) die(s). Certain debuffs like Zanders allow mage classes to deal more damage because it decreases al resistances of monsters. The str/agi debuff is good so healer uses less mana on healing and melee classes hit more including tanks which help accrue aggro. The wisdom/dot debuff helps with resistances as well. You are troubs you know why our debuffs are amazing ;p
I mezz mobs that are needed (mainly adds and nameds)
Usually have a throw away song (mainly haste) to rip off and put up resistance buffing if its needed or resistance decreaser like dove song.
I switch back and forth between weapons and shields depending on how the "groove" of the group is. Different effects are great to have at the whim of battle. I have nearly all the t6 fabled dual weilds.

My solo 1handed setup is what allows me to solo pretty much any mob I want too. I could solo the whole poets palace before they made the stuff see invis, heh. Only tricky part was the ring events, if I slipped up but all of the solo named were cake :

My grp/raid setup varies too much for me to declare a setup, but my solo set-up is pretty static:

1-hander plus round shield
Defense Buff
Aria's Buff Proc
Health regen
Agi/Int self-buff

I normally reserve the last slot for charm.  But if I'm killing easy stuff, then I throw up Bria's power regen.  If I'm going against something more difficult with a low chance for an add, then I'll throw up either Bria's or one of the resist buffs.

When I solo, I do not use my power song because I almost never run out of power.  Sure, if I'm farming an area with easy mobs and I want to go fast, then I put it up, but if I fight something more challenging, I prefer to have my health regen song up.  The health song keeps me alive whereas the power song just cuts down on my downtime.  Now, if I'm not reserving a slot for charm and I anticipate a long fight with kiting, then I will put up the power regen, but it is totally situational.

I also do not use Raxxyl's.  Since most of my dmg comes from nukes (Int) and since I sometimes kite and don't melee at all, the Str part of the buff does very little or nothing for me.  The Sta is nice, but I'd rather use the health regen.  I should actually look into how many extra HP the 57 Sta gives me and then see how long a fight needs to be in order for my health regen (68 per tick) to break even versus the extra Sta.  How many HP does the 57 Sta give?

I use the power regen and Raxxyl's very frequently when grouped, however.

When soloing I use:  DW - Cobalt Spatha/Prismatic Swiftblade of the Scale (I like the proc and power regen) -  Daelis -  Bria's -  Defense Song -  Aria's -  Haste/Open for Charm Looking at the other posts, I can why soloing has never been my strong point.  :smileyvery-happy:

Soloing:
DW imbued cobalt axes

1. Quiron's
2. Balletic Avoidance
3. Raxxyl's
4. Daelis
5. blank for charm, or Bria's depending on target selection

Group (no mage)
DW Imbued Cobalt axes

1. Balletic
2. Raxxyl's (or, with a poor tank/big dps, Alin's)
3. Daelis
4. Dove (if applicable based on number of healers/lowbies/big mobs, otherwise Quiron's)
5. Bria's
As far as I'm concerned, combat haste is a joke, in poor taste, at our expense.  I've yet to even acquire the T6 version.

Group/duo (with mage)
Roundshield of the Archon and imbued cobalt spear
1. Balletic
2. Daelis
3. Dove
4. Bria's
5. Aria

Raid (vs non-mental-immune)
Roundshield of the Archon and imbued cobalt spear
1. Daelis
2. Dove
3. Bria's
4. Alin's
5. Aria

Raid (vs mental-immune)
DW Cobalt axes
1. Raxxyl's
2. Dove
3. Bria's
4. Alin's
5. Quiron's (for cannibalisation purposes)

If I need to fire up resists, Quiron's, Aria of Exaltation or (in a mage-free group only) Daelis are usually the first casualties.  If I need to mez, I usually swap a weapon out for the Swiftblade and quite often find myself using the manastone in any prolonged fight other than solo (with a prismatic and Bria's, we can generally mez anything less than orange while gaining power, but those debuffs take it out of me)

My equipment's really tweaked more for raiding/mage-duo than anything else though; another troub in my guild is far better at tanking than I could hope to be.

Edited because I forgot the weapons loadout on mental immunes (like it's not obvious that int isn't gonna help there SMILEY  )
