![]() Ratonga! Na. It makes no difference in the long run. Choose whatever you want. |

Do you mean best from a role-playing perspective? If not, it makes no difference.

/agree in the long run it doesn't make much difference, but with the combat changes I'm pretty happy with Erudite.

Tier'dal. We're agile, we're smart, and best of all, we start in the correct city.

![]() Ummm. I have to disagree with the entire board. At lvl 33 with self buffs My Ogre Troub has 98sta 99str 111agi Ogre Troub all the way friend.

![]() Too bad int is about as important as str/agi ![]() I like my wood elf, seems like the race you would expect to see as a bard

![]() Um, duh, Half-Elf!
Oh statistically you're asking? Pfffffff! Munchkin! (doesn't matter, it all balances out pretty much)

![]() Avoid the rare Dwarf Bard. Other than that... I say go Gnome, but I'm biased. |

There is no real best race in the end game since stats have limits now. But for the fun of it I took a wood elf. No real reason tho, I just liked the look.

It's not just stats you should be thinking about. The race traits can help a lot. As a halfling I have a emergency hate reduction trait that is far better than evasion. I imagine barbarians or whatever would get hate increasers or something equally unecessary for a bard. While were on the subject, I've seen gnome guardians run around and apart from the fact they just look silly, I'm sure they are slightly gimped with the trait selection they are limited to.... Food for thought (well a light snack anyway).
