I have an up and coming Brig and noticed that we have several debuffs.  While they look nice on examination, how much do they effect the eb and flow of things?  Do they make a huge difference?

Also, I've noticed that Swahies and bards (particularly Dirges) have nice debuffs as well.  How do they all stack up?  I know we debuff attk rate, defense, parry, Agi and such while Swashies are debuffing dmg %, the mobs offensive skills and more.  Are we more of a defensive debuffer while they are an offensive debuffer?  From what I'm noticing with my RL friend (Dirge) their debuffs are matching up with ours fairly closely, meaning more defensive debuffs than offensive debuffs.

Just trying to get a feel for the value of my debuffs.  It's easy to see what T1 dps classes bring to the table since they are measured in their dmg output alone.  But we bring a dmg multiplier to the table and it's hard to see the effect.

Thanks for your input!

sssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhok now... *looks around* debuffs like attack speed etc only really make a diffrence in epic content, or high con heroic with a not so great group. The ... AHEM... other debuffs we get (*cough*mitigation*cough*resists*cough*) are important on any powerful single targets...When soloing you will want to use everything you can lol (but nothing is vital unless your soloing harder solo mobs)other than that your just a group invis jockey... yeah bet you wish you rolled an assassin now eh? (sshhh!)

As Leks said, there is not another class in the game that can come close to our debuffing. We have become essential for raids and that is a great thing. We don't have to put out top raid DPS every fight because we are there to help others do it. Not that our DPS isn't very respectable. SMILEY Some of the Tier 6 raids are ring events that are timed, because of repops or depops. In situations where you need to be dropping things as fast as possible to keep the ring events going, it is so handy to be able to drop a Dispatch every 1 minute.
