I am lvl 37 Swash. I cannot get past the trio. I have tried killing each one first, I have used my defensive and offensive stances. I have attacked first by stealth and throwing. I have mezzed and not mezzed. I have used dual weapons and single weapon and shield. I have decent equipment and skills are Adept 1 quality. Everything I have tried I get killed. My summoner and fury made it without a hitch.Only other thing I can think to try, is to be right on the cusp of a mini-ding so that I get that regeneration when I kill the first one. Guess that is my next effort, but I must be missing something. Any tips? Thanks in advance

Well I have a 23 swashy and I did it yesterday. I was also always defeated by the trio at the end.   It took me a little time and thinking but here is what worked for me.  I have good gear, 2 weapons (no shield), health poison, damage poison, STR ring and AGI ring.  I use a defensive stance as it rasied my MIT the most.  I still had time left on swindlers luck when I went at the trio.  I targeted the small female healer first, the tall female 2nd and the dwarf last. I was in stealth and used shanghi then backstab.  I used my 2 AOE's to finish my 1st and 2nd HO.  Then used standard HO protocall until the AOE's recycled.  I was at 1/3 health and 1/2 power when the battle ended.  I had normal food and drink. The thing that worked for me I think was that swindlers luck was still up and that I had my STR at close to 100 (for me at 23).  When I checked my parser the DPS i did during the battle was around 74.  Good luck. I still have to finish harclave with him though SMILEY

I have no problems at 28 doing it, I'm 33 now haven't tried it lately. Personally, I'd go with no stance, take out the Healer, then Mage, then Dwarf.  Try to, at the fight before get off Swindler's luck, and try to get off Bravo's Dance as well.

I did them on difficult setting at level 44 without much problems, the 3 are the hardest part, the champion was easier.

Get two types of playermade poison if you don't have it, one that lowers poison resist and one that does good damage.

Get the Polished Granite Tomahawk if you can, it really helps when the proc goes of SMILEY

I start with stealth attack on one of the casters and 2 different fast "backstabs" before it the stun wears off, then I disarm the dwarf which gave me time to finish one caster. Then get on the other caster, you will take some hits from the dwarf for 10 secs before you can disarm him again. Once it's just the dwarf left you hopefully will have enough hp's left to finish him before he finishes you SMILEY

Good luck

31 swashbuckler, did them a few days ago on normal difficulty at lvl 29. Gear: treasured or handcrafted, highest dmg poison I could get, no other poison, normal food and water. No special weapons. No special armor. Stance: offensive, you really want your attacks to land, an unlucky miss or two can kill you. A proc or two aren't that bad, either. I started with the taller caster (nuker?). Shanghai, backstab. By now, the other two were in range, so I fired off both AoEs (one of them Master II from training options). Caster1 was just about dead now, an additional attack or two finished him off. Now I mezzed the dwarf (disarming grin? sorry, I'm used to the german names only) and started on caster2. Nothing fancy, just hit him with whatever was available. Caster2 went down several seconds before the dwarf woke up. Had I reacted faster, I could've even shanghai'd the dwarf. Well, same thing here. Hit him with everything I had until he went down. All in all, the trio is the worst part of the Arena. The champion OTOH was very easy. I think I came out of the fight vs. champion with 60% health and mana. Gnoll Master Strike helps, of course. Hope that helps a fellow swashbuckler - Flowergnome

Well, I finally finished it and got my Shard.  Yay!!!

When I finished it, I absolutely breezed through it...well, much more easily than previous attempts.  I dunno, something was different because it was a LOT easier than it was before.  I did nothing radically different, though i did have Swindler's Luck going when I met the trio.  But even the other challenges, like the Duo or Phosm were noticeably easier.  hmmm

Well, thanks for the advice.  Onward and upward.
