What are defilers shape change forms?

Does the defiler have only the wraith form?

Do I get to choose which form I want? Just wondering how this shape change stuff works. Can one of you 20+ level guys help me out?

You also get Rat form and Spirit Hawk form.

I have seen the Rodent form spell, its more llike a badger with a scorpion tail... at first I was calling it a "scadger" or a "badgion". Havent seen the Spirit Hawk from yet.

As far as the Wraith Form goes, I am rather disappointed. I am a gnome, yet when i cast my Baleful Countenance for the Wraith Form with pretty decent power buff, I transform into the size and shape of a Barbarian or large human. So many people dont think of me as a gnome. Although, I have had some fun using the bug as a entertaining party trick when waiting for power or health to restore between battles...

Wraith form is broken. You will turn into a male version of a different race. I happen to turn into a dark elf with really bad hair.

20 is rodent form (fun spell) and also wraith form. You get multible upgrades to wraith form but all look the same. At 45 you get spirit hawk form (fun spell). Its pretty fun its just like a druid i think it is that has the form but we are clear see through. You can also fly over water. And lastly at 50 we get our last fun spell smoldering essence. Which just makes a cloud of purple smoke around you. semi cool i think. And it stacks with the other forms so you can have bird form with the purple cloud. or wriath and purple etc.

Is Smouldering Esence any different from the other 'smoking' forms, like Baleful Countenance for example?

Yes the essence you get at 50 is very diffrent then the wraith forms. I would describe the wraith forms as more of a fire effect no? Looks like it is burning around you. The smoking form litterly puts purple smoke around you, as if you would to be walking through smoke from a fire.

I'll try and post a pick of the level 50 smoke form a little later today.

I should have turned up my settings to make it look a tad better but your able to see what it looks like.

Heh its actully not as bad compared to the assassin level 50. They look exactly like pigpen from charlie brown. With the dirt eminating from them.
