![]() Would this duo work well? My wife plays a fury and I currently play a troub, but I am considering switching over to an illusionist. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Yes, if you kill solo mobs. Herioc mobs you will need a tanking class though. :smileywink: |

![]() Yes, we do duo well. I was just in the d'morte burial chamber instance. Me and my fury, my r/l friend and his illusionist. pre revamp, i woulda sed no. but now, yes. for the most part i, fury, played tank unless the personae gained aggro. key was to not let illusionist tank. we cleared the whole zone and finished the quest at 30. all mobs were yellow and orange to us at that level. was great xp and we didn't die. key was debuffing and hot'ing. before i disturbed the graves i would group hot with ram's growth. chanter would mez duo groups. personae would drain and dot. was very fun. i did most of the HO's though with master smite, Cyclone, and strike of thunder. with good drink and breeze on, we had power almost all the time. the ^^ we killed in there was orange to us, we just kept on the hots, dots, and stun stifles to kill him. Now those were are alts. Are mains are reversed, my main is an illusionist and his is a warden. we also duo well. just let the pet tank. thats the key |

Hell Yeah they do!! I am a level 50 Fury and my brother is a level 50 Illusionist, and to put it bluntly..... We kick Butt!!! Between us we buff each others Int to high levels, so the damge outpput is increased and with his pets and my Aoe nuke with the single dd nuke, we do some serious damage. Last nigh we took on a Sand Giant (sorry could not remeber exact title) and he was a 48^^^ and basically we owened his giand sandy butt!!! Possibly one of the best partners in the game for a Fury. ![]() I highly doubt that the illusionist is the best choice for a duo partner, but I suspect it will be ok. I would think a pet class would be much better (conjurer/necro). Kerlin - 52 Fury |

Erm Kerlin, Have you duo'd with an Illusionist ( iam talking about a high level one), because if you have then you will know that they get a "Personae" and a "Construct" both of which are pets, the Personae is a replica of the Illusionist and casts similar spells although at a slightly lower level, bu is very effective as stuns and mezzes, the construct has a nice little dps going with it. With the Breeze and Int buffs we have, we all benefit each other and Heriocs are not a problem for us, as most of the time they are Stunned, Mezzed, Stifled, drained of power and getting nuked, dot'd and whacked with my Royal flai, whilst using Fey flames. Nuff said. Tabitha - 50 Fury

![]() Id say as far as duo partners go a SK's rock they got good tankage nice dmg and they have a use for our int! Int increases their dmg on some ca's too so as we buff int mostly now Id say the best partner is a Shadowknight for us atm. Had some great fun with a guildie of mine duoing the faction towers making great xp and dropping the guards like flies |
