![]() I read in patch notes a while back about 200 wisdom giving me god like power, well maybe a bit more mana anyway. So i have noticed, it seems hard to get wisdom high on my fury as many high wisdom items dont come in light and we dont have access to high wisdom heavy items that a templar would have access to, also we dont get a very good wisdom buffs. My question is: Has anyone managed to get it that high and what do they use and is it worth it? Will increasing untamed spirit to adept3 help? Currently i'm 41 with 150 wisdom, at the most i can maybe get it up to 160/165 without compromising my armor too much. Still a long way off 200. Also with about 4 points of power to each wisdom point is there anypoint in updgrading armour for wisdom at all? Seems like wisdom is mostly useless unless i can shoot for a HUGE 200 bonus. Let me see If i spend a plat getting an extra 10 wisdom it gives me 40 more power, Feel the power of the fury now! That is enough power for my lvl 4 chill spell lol. ![]() I've been experimenting with getting my wis upto 200. So far I am at 187. Grouped with a chanter friend I got to 257 yesterday. I noticed bugger all change. Once over 200 you only get 1 point of power per wis. So we actually get penalise for it. There are some threads elsewhere on this forum about this. People are complaining that Fighters get their power pool and increased damage from their str atribute. Where as casters get no extra damage/heal or benefit from increasing their primary attribute. The mechanics are not clear but I read something about Intelligence actually affecting the damage of our spells and Wis affecting some useless aspect I cant recall. So I don't think its worth working on WIS. It may even be better to work on Intelligence. I'm continuing to experiment though and will have a better idea when I break 200 without buffs. I'm currently 41 and shoudl be able to do it in a level or two.

Nightblood armor comes with wisdom on every piece. The average being like +11 Wis I believe, on each piece of a *full* suit of armor (helm, chest, legs, boots, gloves, arms, forearms). Unfortunately, it only comes in heavy armor, and there is nothing even close to it in light or medium that I've found. Sure wouldn't mind a set of armor like that.

I can get to 198 Wis self buffed. I'm over 250 in most groups. I haven't done the math on the power points per WIS, but it doesnt seem like it's a huge deal. Verax

![]() I haven't been able to get myself to 200 wis self buffed, but with the illusionist or conjuror in my guild I get up to like 260. Its dissapointing since everything above 200 is for not. Don't worry about wisdom too much mate, although it affects your power pull, by lvl 50 you won't have a problem getting it to 200+ in groups. Especially when you start getting your high end gear like the eyepatch and GEB's. Raiding tonight I got my power to 3900. Yay me!

![]() I can self-buff to 187 at L47. My concern is not so much on wis, but more on raw power. Some of my friends told me there is a soft cap at 200, so the 201st wis prolly give u less power than the previous 200 wis. EDIT: I recently got a fabled helm and boost my wis to 202 @ L50, power pool now is 2320. I have not make up my mind abt getting a wis hex doll but unless I manage to harvest the T5 rare myself, I guess I better keep my 2 activate slots for maanstone and horse whistle... ![]() The Nightblood armor does have some nice wisdom on it as Mojo pointed out, but the problem is that it's heavy armor and fury's are stuck with light armor.

It's only level 30 armor, but look for traditonal halfling armor. It is light and comes with high wisdom. It is dropped by threatened halflings in Enchanted Lands. Twelve wis on shoulders and eleven on bracers. I haven't looked at the other slots to see their wisdom boosts. Also, lots of items are coming out of bloodlines with nice wisdom.

![]() Level 49 here, and I'm able to self-buff my WIS to 189. Would be higher, but I recently swapped out my +WIS chest piece for one of the imbued ones. Total power is close to 3000 self-buffed. When grouped/raiding with a 'chanter I usually swap out a few pieces to bleed off that "extra" WIS above 200 into AGI or STA just in case I get hit. There's a lot of WIS gear for us out there, it just takes careful monitoring of the broker to find it (and to avoid getting ripped off). Just learned about some hex dolls that go in the "Activatable" slot that add 12 WIS - adding a couple of those is gonna open up my equipment slots for re-evaluation again. Might actually start using that nice Shiny Brass Shield I got from Grozmag..

Wisdom hex dolls got implemented in LU6. I am at 216 wisdom and 3323 power self buffed atm. Wisdom over 200 is def a dissapointment, i too will be looking for other stat items to swap out some of my gear for.

![]() I'm at 239 WIS self buffed atm and it's sickeningly apparent that you are in fact penalized for WIS that's 200+... I'm hearing this should change soon, as the patch a long time ago was supposed to do exactly the opposite... but you know how Sony is with saying one thing and doing another just as well as I do.... this can't be right! it's actually WORSE to have 200 wis? ............ this is horrible. I've actually kinda noticed this myself, now that i've managed to grab every piece of wisdom adding equip I could get my hand on... what a waste. I remembered reading that characters get some sort of bonus for 200 of their main stat. As a 43 defiler, i am at 203 self-buffed wisdom and definitely NOT seeing any bonus

![]() 200 WIS is the ideal amount, since it confers the maximum amount of power per point of WIS. Going over that doesn't penalize you at all; it's just that some of your equipment slots might be better spent on +Power, AGI, STA, Hitpoints, etc. 200 is just a point of (sharply) diminishing returns, nothing more. I bought 2 of the +9 WIS dolls myself, and promtly swapped my +10WIS shield for my SBS. I have more power now than before, and the SBS helps me get hit even less. Fully self-buffed I'm at 195 WIS now, which is about as close as I can get without going over.
