![]() Okay, so heres something I was thinking about while bored. Some wardens play and enjoy the defensive style warden with remedies and renewal Some others play the Melee warden. After trying both, I am so torn between the love to melee and play that way even in non-raid scenarios, that Ive been speccing in and out spending large amounts of cash to do this =/ So I was in melee one day, plowing away trying to pick up the gear, and a few weeks later, I slip on out to pick up a more caster-ish style. I am so torn between the two I love the melee, but the set gear just isn't directed toward that at all from raid drops =/ I mean this is speaking from a non-augmented point of view So , I found this kinda...balance between it, but im still so torn between the two playstyles that I just dont know what to do =/ I just kinda wanted to rant, and maybe find out if im the only one in the situation of being torn between melee and the alternative. |

well, if you have the AA, you can (imo) make an effective melee warden, with a large twist of the "other" you mentioned.Swap some STR gear when meleeing, etc... i carry some WIS / ministration gear in my backpack in case i'd have to heal more (so i can get larger power pool and more efficient heals). This hasnt happened often, but still...Imo, if you love the melee warden, i'd say you go for it and try to get raid gear that matches that line (might be more difficult, because of the +WIS/STA fixation

![]() I've got pretty much all I can get for Str/Wis mix =/ sadly there just isn't enough. I decided to end up with the melee and to go down the Renewal line for the DI stuff. My intentions are to end up with , a warden that can heal just as good as before [took the same KoS STA line for the heal crits] With a twist, on trash or mobs with easy to manage AoE's I can now melee due to the STR line from KoS and the CA's from EoF This way even if I'm in my resist/wis/set gear, I can always grab some haste and throw some melee for the 16% proc of like 400 or whatever to add some extra healing I'm relatively happy now and over my little confusion Thanks for the Advice =)

Same dilemna but i had to take the other way since i had to take both crit heal and AoE prevention for some raid. Maybe in the future i will be back to melee...
