![]() I have recently harvested a piece of ironwood and am trying to decide what would be the best use for it. Would you all recommend an imbued ironwood wand or an imbued cobalt battle hammer? I know there is a few more points of wisdom on the wand, but the hammer also has stamina which I'm sure helps us since we are the priest class with the lowest hit points. I always thought the wand look for an inquisitor was kind of silly, but if the consensus is that the 5 extra points of wisdom would better serve than the 10 stamina on the hammer then I will just deal with the look. Are any of you using an imbued ironwood buckler? I had heard the stats on the buckler aren't like previous tier bucklers and I wasn't sure if that was true. I never see any for sale on the market so I'm guessing clerics don't really want them. Thanks.

![]() I just recently went with the Ironwood wand. Sure the look isnt that great but I like the mana free nukes. Saved me a few times already. Also nice that you can cast it while on the move.

![]() As it's been proven that INT helps our dmg dealing spells, I went w/ the wand. |

I'm a style person myself. That's how I've chosen every class I play (monk for martial arts, wizard for the cool elemental spell effects, so forth). I mini max stats by changing out jewelry and armor pieces. I'm all about the mace for a weapon.

Wand User here myself. I never swing it in battle anyway. Just no real damage. I am either casting my Fire DOT, my reactive damage spells, mental DOT, heals, or casting the 300+ divine damage the wand has. Mana free non interuptable damage every 10 seconds or so. However, I do believe a imbued hammer has about a 150 damage proc???( please correct me) So the damage might honestly be better with an Imbued hammer. If you can hit the target most of the time.

![]() I use a want too. It's really useful. When I run low on mana, I just use the vengeance type spells, the wand and reactives. It also shoots a little farther than my offensive spells. :smileyhappy: |

It entirely depends (IMO) on what sort of player you are. Are you the sort who groups alot? Then you're more likely in need of Ironwood wands. +14wis/int isn't something to snort about, but the imbue isn't really all that fantastic (I mean come on.. 500 dam for a 8 sec cast spell?Puh=leeze) Do not, until they fix it, get yourself an ironwood buckler. There's no wis on it. If, however, you solo alot like I do, and you can't/haven't gotten your Screaming Mace, go for the battle hammer. The proc seems to be quite insane on it and I slice through level 40+ mobs in Feerot (I'm killing the 200 lizards now while afking and reading my emails etc) like swiss cheese faster then I did with my ebon hammer. If you can, get a nacre orb to tide you over in the ranged slot as well. +10 wis/int there.

Myself personally.. I like the wands.. part looks, and as many have mentioned before, the mana free nuke does come in handy.. sure the cast time can be a little long, but more than once, I have found myself casting the wand nuke, and regenning enough mana to cast that last needed heal, or one last dot that will finish the mob off.

![]() Thanks for the input so far. I think I will probably go ahead and have a wand made. Is there a particular type of imbue you find more useful than the others? I know two of our DOT spells can further debuff mental and divine resists so would either of those be a better choice instead of disease, heat, etc. for the imbue? |

Personally if you're level 53, I'd go get myself the Screaming Mace instead of wasting my money on crafted weapons. The stats on the Screaming Mace are as good at T6 rare crafted, but it also comes with a power proc that comes in really handy.

![]() For grouping its nice to max int and power so a wand+shield is nice. For soloing a slow 2h is really sweet. I still use the royal great flail at 60. With a fast weap you will miss out on a lot of hits since you spend time casting spells. With a slow 2hander you wont miss any hits since the delay more or less equals the time to cast a spell.

Can anyone tell me the damage of a proc for tier 4 weapons? (31-39). Or the healing power of the breastplate? I thought the weapon proc was about 150?? So, it would take at least 2 procs to make up for the damage of a single and cast.... True or False? P.S. I did look all over the bazzar, could not find a single imbued weapon or armor in that range to check. Even over the last 4 days.

![]() I personally self buff for over 5k hps. Most of the time I will have more hps than my fabled out bruiser/monk counterparts. I mostly use my Prismatic, but when I feel like playing around solo I do have a wand. |
