Intercession! 8 ticks for a uber group heal is unbeatable. At least, IMO.You know if you take out the "i got 30 gold" part, the community might less thinkthat you are trying to brag that you have a lot of gold. Not that you might be tryingto brag, but it gives the impression.

Both. 30g should easily buy 2 jaspers. I would also look at getting the power buff upgraded.Personally, I have a couple indigo ink and the 28th and 29th books rotting in my backpack because I can't find a scribe willing to take 1g for the work to make the spells and when I upgraded my SP (That spell rocks at adept 3) the books for 28 and 29 were busted./whine off.

![]() if i wanted to brag id have said something like, "woot, another 30gold! ready for my 3rd adept 3! (combat healing and bov alrdy there)...which to get!? It just seems that SP is such a minor improvement over BoV and if having just dinged into Intercession is likely to change my healing technique from a single HoT to the grp hot variety, then maybe SP isnt worth it? Do you folks more often rely on SP or Intercession? SP looks like its going to do less per tick than Intercession anyhow (nm that its only half as many ticks) Get detailed in explaining why u prefer one over the other plz

silver, no offense there. just impressions.Anyways ---At L31 Trorion posted:SP (AD 3): 148 x 5 = 685 + 200 = 920. 920/83 = 11.325 + AC Buff to the healed party.L31 Intercession (AD1) = 248 heal for 180? power (8+1? hits) ==> ???So I would imagine that Adept III version is insanely powerful.Either way, SP or Intercession wouldn't go wrong. But I just love group reactive.Cast before hard fight, med with a good drink = free 8+1 heal with 100% power. There's kinda a trick too where if tank pulls and you don't cast heal or go intocombat, the regen is still high.

![]() With SP at app3 and soon to be adept 3 when I can get it scribed... I use SP most. Intercession second. Both are VERY good healing spells. SP may not seem like much but remember with SP and Intercession stacked you'll see your tank jump by 200 or more in AC. That, right there, is quite nice. Even had a tank comment the other day on how high his AC was while fighting with SP and Intercession stacked. Glad finally somebody noticed.

Actually most Tier 4 ^^ monsters will hit for 250 dmg or more per hit. Intercession is perfect in handling that. I usually wait till around 80% of tank life before I cast it again (i cast before tank pull).

![]() Yes against single ^^ group type mobs (and probably against the bigger ^^^ raid mobs) intercession rocks. I was pointing out that in large groups of no arrow mobs that intercession is power hungry. Because it way overheals really fast hehe.

![]() I bought Palladium last night and got my Intercession upgraded from Adept I to Adept 3. I'm level 35. Adept 1 Intercession: 284pts a tick, (not sure on final) Adept 3 Intercession: 325pts a tick, (not sure on final) For 20gold, I think wasn't too bad. Although I'm not sure what our Adept 2 Group Reactive does at lvl 40. (however I figure, 5 levels of an upgraded heal ain't too bad for 20gold) Now...what spell to upgrade next....

![]() If you've got group reactive and single reactive covered, I'd go for debuffs. More specifically the weakness line or the AC debuff line. If you've got those two covered, I would go for the Mark line. The instant heals might also be a good choice. But I don't use them so often in a group that I feel they need to be upgraded beyond app3 or adept 1. When I look at spell upgrades, I look for what spells I use in most situations. In my case, group reactive before pull, single target reactive, sign of weakness, AC debuff (if the current target is something difficult), Mark (if the current target is something difficult). So I would choose my upgrades in about this order. Though I'd tend toward single target reactive first since it fits into so many situations. Group reactive is really useful, don't get me wrong. But, there are times when I'd rather burn power on my single target reactive (like during a fight against alot of no-arrow mobs, that have been weakened, all hitting my tank at the same time) In this case, the group reactive just sucks up alot of power and the single target reactive gets the job done just as well. But the two I would always upgrade first would be our single target reactive and group reactive. Just a matter of taste of which one to do first.

![]() In my opinion intercession is the most important spell for a templar until at least level 36 (my current level). Against ++ and greater mobs or when the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] hits the fan its an amazing spell. At adept 3 you get a potential 2600 hp in 1 cast - no other spell even comes close to that healing output. |

I've started to run into problems with intercession that are difficult to overcome. Things like mages tapping health from their pets (thanks for blowing 255hp's of tank healing in favor of a 38hp heal on your pet...) and wizards casting 100pt group spells (thats 6 of 8 reacts for Intercession suddenly gone for relatively little healing) that I am being much more careful about when I burn that power.True; if everything goes as we want it to Intercession rocks but if things are just a bit off then intercession is a large (199 pts) waste of power.Just some things I've been running into lately. Probably just my bad luck.

If the caster would stop and take notice, the group reactive also hits their pet. I group with a mage quite often and when I use intercession he knows better not to do those little life/heal ticks on his pet. Just not all are as educated as some so it may just take a moment to point this out to casters in the group when the fighting slows down. Last night I went into Runnyeye and the only 2 spells I cast aside from the common Mark cast.. I used Intercession and the new reactive that replaced my newly paid for adept 3 of BoV. Drinking a T2 drink that lasted 3 hours.. (ya ya I know T2? Im cheap what can I say....) I almost never went below half power. Oh and I was the only healer in the group.. no shaman, no druids. It was a nice feeling. |

![]() I'm level 37 now and have upgraded Intercession to Adept 3 (I like it very much). I have a Tier4 rare in bank (for level 30-40s spell). I've decided on doing Reproach Adept 3 when I ding. Couple questions I have for those 38-50 templars. As I look toward the next set of upgrades, can anyone suggest? Below is a list of my current most used spells and levels. 24 Disgrace (Adept I) 26 Supplicant's Prayer (Adept I) 28 Intercession (Adept 3) 29 Amelioration (Adept I) 30 Pious Redoubt (Adept I) 32 Restoration (Adept I) 32 Mark of Princes (App IV or Adept I) 35 Sign of Debility (App IV) Upgrades? 38 Reproach (Adept 3) - pretty much what I'll upgrade 2nd Upgrade Choices (this is where I need help) * Supplicant's Prayer (Adept I) to Adept 3 ---or--- wait for Greater Intercession at lvl 40. (Is the Adept I better at lvl 40, than SP Adept 3 at same level? - Jaspers are expensive on my server. worth 20g? * Is upgrading Sign of Debility (appIV) to Adept 3 now worth the 40g for the Tier4 rare, or wait long time until next spell at lvl 49? * Is there another upgrade that I'm overlooking that would be good to have? Any help would be appreciated |
