Semi new necro looking for advice.

Hello, I have recently made a summoner and am now about to turn level 20 and have the new training spells avalible to me. I have level 50 main so I can have any spell/equip I want to get. My main question is the level 20 training pet the hero I think it is better then an adept 3 of the level 24 pet. All it says is it's a fighter. I'm looking for a pet that can tank because all I do is Duo with a good friend of mine that is a corcer. I dont want to get a level 20 training pet and have it gone in 4 levels because a new one I get is better at adept 3. So for a tank is the 20 training spell better then an adept 3 version of the 24 pet. Also any insite into other training skills would be helpfull. Also if anyone could tell me any other levels where I would get "Tank" pets that would be great also.Please keep in mind I do mean adept 3 not app 3-4.

I took the hero at 20. I am 23 now, I was wondering the same thing as I am about to hit 24 and I have the adept 3 UA scroll on me. From what I have read, the hero is a better tank until you hit about 28, when he becomes capped or something. Then the UA gets much better... I will test it out at 24 and post what I find. It will be a judgement call, I dont use log parsers much....

Well, at Lvl 26, I have the Adept 3 UA and I also chosed the Lvl 20 training pet...

I've found out the UA adept3, can tank a lot better then the fallen hero, and can take a beating....

If you plan to solo a lot, or you usually group w/ wizzards...UA adept 3 is a good tank and i think better then the Fallen hero..

My only problem with the Ua adept3, is it has no attack animations....I have to reassure my group members, that it is attacking...

My next adept3 will probably be Persential Blast, and maybe grisly brace (or ward?)

Hero pet caps at level 32. Up until lvl 33, the Hero will be better then UA. But UA continues to level from 33-37, so during that time it will be a better tank.

The Hero pet is Sepultures; Required 100 Mastery 150, therefore it caps at level 30. It never gets better.

The UA pet is Sepultures; Required 120 Mastery 170, therefore it caps at level 34. It never gets better.

The Hero will con one level below you at level 33. The UA at level 37.

The UA (Adept I) becomes better than the Hero at Sepultures 151, or level 30.2.

So if I didnt choose the hero at level 20 is there any other training spell worth getting?

The 30 training pet is worth getting. He will hold you over til the next big pet. So getting the UA to adept 3 might be a mistake if you got the hero. I'm getting the 30 pet and still kicking myself for not getting the hero. Live and learn I guess. When is the reset coming, anyone know? Might still get the hero if it is before I hit 27.

I used adept 3 UA untill I got the adept 1 RT Only thing that beats UA dmg wise is the 30 training and with that I'm not sure how much better of a tank it is. Really I think it just depends on your playing style.
